## Real Flame Fire MKII Reviews in Australia

### *---- "Unable to set up remote access to the iPhone when you away home"
It simple not allowing you to set up remote control when you are away from your home WiFi system. Step 15 about registration never pop up on screen which means you will never be able to register and use the function. I think the company does not even bother to look into issue or upgrading to new OIS version at all.
-- Gor C 9, 2026-04-17

### **--- "App ON OFF"
Features not included so bad when the flame is too high you cannot make it low just use for power On and OFF
-- manrachen, 2025-05-10

### *---- "Awful app"
Don't even waste your time: awful app only turned on the fireplace once then hasn't done it since. Everyone I know has had the same issue. Fix your app.
-- Real flame hater, 2025-04-09

### *---- "Most useless app and instructions ever"
Have tried numerous times to connect my fireplace using this app, following the instructions provided in the user manual and whilst I can connect to the heater access point, the app then fails to find any heater. Realflame may as well scrap the wifi functionality in their heater as all that can be done is control via the usual RF remote.
-- AlanMic1972, 2024-12-27

### *---- "Very basic app, unreliable"
Unreliable app, should integrate into a smart home ecosystem
-- Anton2079, 2024-11-17

### *---- "Requires a total re-design"
This app is almost dangerous to use because it doesn’t simply and clearly indicate the current state of the fireplace. Configuration was quite complex and the details not made visible in the settings. I’m not convinced it is secure. Operations cannot be scheduled or automated at all (eg turn on if temp falls below X degrees), nor does the system appear to integrate with any home automation (eg HomeKit).
-- Alex_Thomas, 2024-07-02

### *---- "Terrible app"
Love the fireplace, but they should just get rid of the app all together until it’s a decent usable app. Wifi setup is straight forward but fireplace acts up when using the app to control.
The idea is great, would love to turn it on from bed via the app as soon as you wake up. But not working unfortunately.
-- disgruntled director, 2023-07-01

### *---- "Useless App"
A complete amateur must have developed the App. It doesn’t work and the instructions are useless!
-- pvribetjgdbnuv, 2022-05-06

### *---- "Service"
Had to have 3rd new remote and new receiver that’s all ok but wifi does not work and the service person had no idea about it!!
I have spent hours trying to connect its useless!!
Would not have purchased Realflame if I had known this issue.
Also took about 7 weeks to get a warranty call. Very bad service.
-- Sueie8, 2021-08-06

### *---- "The worst useless app ever"
The fireplace comes on and off on its own. The app doesn’t control fan speed, on or off. NOTHING!!!
-- Ointa, 2021-07-16
