I have been using this app for almost 2 years with no issue, and was able to generate reports and extract data. 

Suddenly, the developer decided to upgrade the app and make all extract and reporting tools locked to the PRO version. In other words, I woke up one day and couldn’t generate any reports or extract the data as CSV unless I pay for the PRO version. 

I have now hundreds of records which I can no longer view or use. 

I contacted the developer and asked for a way to extract the data once and for all. They simply offered a $2 discount code which basically takes 25% off. My request was to get my data which I entered before the developer locked down the features, but they still want me to pay to get my data. 

You might get this app now, use the free tools within it, then one day wake up to find those tools locked up in the pro version with no access to your data whatsoever until you pay. 

In other words, ransomware.

They have updated this app and completely ruined it, this used to be a quick, simple to view and analyse app. Rather than 2 seconds to log and categories an income or expenditure it now takes about 15 seconds, so a traditional pen and paper or an excel spreadsheet is now much better.

They have now also changed the currency to only be dollars which you cannot change and 2-3 years of my data is now useless!

the new view and format is horrible it looks like a microsoft outlook calendar so you might as well just use outlook.

Since the update all functionality is lost and the app is riddled with bugs and glitches! Bear in mind I have the pro paid version the free one must be unusable.

Pros prior upgrade: 
+ simplicity and accessibility - you could find everything you need at ease, while after upgrade you’d have to do those wide scrolls which leave wide gaps between your expenditure/income data
+ UI - less scrolling, an ability to interact/see your expenditure and income chart all in one
After upgrade: 
- no way to edit your currency preference leaving you with £ sign at all times
- too much unnecessary interactivity and animation. It is meant to be a simple app used on a daily basis. 

I will give this app a try and take some time to “adapt” to this new upgrade. But at the moment I am considering switching to something else. Prior to upgrade it was a 5*** app.

I use this app to track my monthly spending for everything bar stuff I already know about. Once I know how much money I need to survive on I just set that as my income for the month. Now I am in the habit it takes a minute a day to enter things that I don’t budget for and I can see what I have left until payday. This has improved my spending habits especially as I get to the end of the month and reign in my spending as I don’t like to go over. Keeping it simple I don’t put cash withdrawals in as spending. Just spending whether it is cash or card transactions( don’t lose the cash though).

Can input upcoming expenditures to see how much you have to spend for the month! So easy to put money and categories in! Pity the app ‘rounds’ up on pence.. so throughout the month it does show less than you actually have left! Maybe if they add an option to add multiple cards would be good too! But 5/5 for features they currently have!!!
