Receipts have not uploaded since middle of December.  Sits and spins and won’t upload.  “May take longer on slower connections “.  I have very fast internet connection.  My phone and app have latest updates.  The only way it works is if I delete app and reinstall. And then I can only upload one receipt and then it goes back to not uploading.  Whatever happened, it needs fixed or I am deleting and walking away.

I have used this app for about a year. I was able to cash out at $5, $10 and even $20 but the minute I work to save my receipts to cash out at $50 or $100 because it would take less points to redeem but my redemption was rejected because they accused me of submitting multiple times from the same stores which I live in a small town there is not many stores options I can choose from. Plus you can only submit up to 3 or 4 times a day from the same stores as which I submitted my cash paid receipts and they were rejected as invalid receipts. They have not returned my points to my account to try again nor have they followed up on my email after I explained my situation. Fair warning do not use if you want to try to reach the $50 or $100 levels because they will take your receipts and reject your redemption and mark it as fraudulent use.

Saved $20 worth of checks, when it came time to get the card my request was denied and the bonuses were burned . Waste of time. I do not recommend it for downloading and using.

Do not get this app if your not active more then 60 days your account get suspended and they take away all the points you’ve been saving up or have to ur account. I suggest to use a different app other then this one where you don’t get all ur points removed for not being “active” in their app.

### *---- "Inaccurate review of my receipts"
recently encountered a frustrating experience with the Receipt Jar app. After uploading five receipts from my local gas station, I was only awarded points for one of them, despite all five being valid and properly uploaded. This suggests a serious flaw in the app’s review process.

It’s unclear whether Receipt Jar employs actual people to review the receipts or relies entirely on artificial intelligence, but either way, the system appears to be malfunctioning. If AI is responsible, it’s doing a poor job of recognizing legitimate receipts. If it’s a manual review, then the reviewers either overlooked or dismissed the majority of my submissions.

This failed process not only undermines the app’s reliability but also makes me question the fairness of the rewards system. I’ve taken the time to upload all these receipts, expecting them to be reviewed accurately, only to be met with disappointment. Receipt Jar should address these issues promptly, whether by improving its AI, implementing a better manual review process, or providing clearer explanations for rejected receipts.

Until these problems are resolved, the app’s credibility and user trust are at stake.

They’ll suspend your account without any notice and won’t even let you withdraw whatever points you had prior to suspension. So they’ll steal your data and give you some false answers to keep you away from getting the reward you earned.

ReceiptJar is the best app I have ever used. I’ve been a member for a couple of years now and they have never disappointed me. I’ve recommended this app to many of my close friends & family members and they all agree that this is the best app ever. I also recommend that everyone who reads this review go ahead & download the app for yourselves. I promise you will also be positively impressed just as much as I am. The app is very easy to use & the points accumulate fast. When I’m ready to withdraw my points the gift rewards are sent to my email quickly leaving me feeling very excited to have received my gift rewards. When I needed some assistance Jasmine, & Janella, from ReceiptJar Support we’re both a great help to me & these support agents responded quickly answering all of my questions. I have been using this app daily for over a year. I tried to cash out and they then checked my receipts and determined I violated a police. I only scanned my receipts so not sure why. I emailed them for an explanation and review. I only received a generic response saying my account was permanently suspended. This app is a scam!!

They suspended my account saying that I was stealing peoples receipts, cutting up my receipts and shortening it. I will fold the receipts because they say that doesn’t fit and they can never see it and never able to read it. I wrote the dates because the receipts would fade and I would write and they said I changed the dates on my receipts. Oh, if your receipt falls on the floor and you pick it up, don’t do that because they say that’s fraudulent. That you are stealing someone else receipts. Oh do not have someone buy you things and give you the receipts either because in their eyes that’s fraudulent too. acting like you’re stealing from the store of the company or something. I work hard for my money I’m not going have an app. tell me how I can and cannot download my receipts.  Read the negative feedback believe them when they say that they do anything to suspend your account and lie about you. DO NOT DRAG MY NAME LIKE THAT AND LIE ABOUT ME. KARMA WILL CATCH UP TO YOU.

I have been using this account for years and log in daily one day I go on it my account is suspended it doesn’t say why it just has me suspended and I emailed them asking to please fix it and they said they won’t I upload receipts almost everyday one day I did more then usual I don’t known if it’s that but it’s not fair I got long so far almost to 100$ and my account is suspended that’s so frustrating

There is a daily problem with the accounts disconnecting (Walmart, Kroger, Amazon, & Target). I have reached out to customer service several times in the last year. They continue to send the same response and fail to fix the problems. When I reply to their message stating I have tried all of their recommendations and I am still having problems they respond with the same exact response that was sent the first time. It seems like there isn’t anyone to speak to for customer service, just automated responses.

The app continues to reject receipts that I do saying that are old even those it isn’t. Been happening since I reactivated my account in July. Rejected over 300 receipts.
Also doesn’t take my receipts from Costco’s anymore.

### *---- "Doesn’t Work At All, Waste of Time"
I absolutely hate this app. Not only does it not gather all my online receipts after getting access to my email and other online accounts, I can’t even take pictures of physical receipts. Yes I follow the rules, but it still does not ever allow me to take pictures. If there are any other apps that are similar to this, let those be your first stop and this one dead last. Yes, it might have 4+ stars but pay attention to the actual reviews vs. star ratings. This scanner does a bad job and I almost feel scammed.
