ReciMe: Recipe Keeper

It took me a minute to sign on to pay for ReciMe (I mean we’re so used to free Apps). But I’m so glad I did. I use it multiple times a week. Being able to see a cool recipe on some random social media page and add it to my collection so I don’t loose it - game changer. But I just discovered that you can up the number of people you are cooking for and Recime adjusts all the ingredient amounts. No more mental gymnastics and messing up by doubling some things and not others etc. And I love when following the instructions I can easily pop up the ingredient amounts without needing to scroll or change screens. Simple, beautiful design that just works. 5 stars!

Claims to be free but you only get 10 recipe uploads and then you have to pay monthly to add any more. Works ok if you are happy to sign up to a subscription. I had to edit almost all my recipes after upload to correct.

Sign up then get told your only on a 7 day free trial. No thanks deleted.

It currently isn’t working when you take a photo of a recipe and go to import it , the screen keeps on going up and down

As soon as I had maybe 20 recipes uploaded into the app it basically wouldn’t open. The app would take over 5 minutes to load up the page where the recipes are, then over 5 minutes to open a recipe, then over 5 minutes again to reload the recipe page, and now fails all the time when I try to import new recipes. Given this is not a free service this is unacceptable.

Fantastic idea but you really can’t do much on a free trial. I really wish it was a bit more transparent about that, I downloaded, spent about a week importing the recipes (only five a day on the free trial but that’s fine) but then all of a sudden I can’t import any more! I can’t afford the subscription and will probably have to go back to my unwieldy saved video instagrams :(

Outstanding app! My new favourite app. From finding new recipes on app, to uploading ones I want to try from social media, to uploading my own favourite recipes and family recipes! Everything is outstanding, 10/10 recommended this app to everyone!! 🤩

Still working my way around it but initially the app is great. So easy to import from Instagram or the web.

I wanted this mainly for scanning new recipes into my phone but everytime i press the camera scan function the app freezes and i have to close it and try again. It’s not working!

I’m so excited about this ap! For so long I’ve been seeing beautiful recipes show up in Instagram on online while looking for a recipe, then when I’ve been ready to use the recipe I haven’t been able to locate!.. not any more!.. plus with guests coming I can create my menu, then easily create the shopping list! And, after a couple of days I have 92 recipe favourites sorted, from Drinks, nibbles, lunches, desserts, cooks I follow (Miss Polly’s kitchen) Dressings and sauces, food style (Mediterranean) I highly recommend this so to anyone who loves to be creative in the kitchen, savvy with selecting recipes with good in season, or anyone who just lives to look at great recipes!… And just to add to my review! I’m actively using the recipe book from my phone, and discovered my phone stays unlocked while I’m following the instructions! And feeling stuck what to cook with the ingredients in your cupboard/refrigerator, there is a search for recipes using those same ingredients. For me, this app is a winner… feeling very happy!
