How much does Recipe Keeper cost?
Recipe Keeper has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is $29.99.
This would have to be the best value for money. I originally had the free version of this which allows up to 20 recipes, & wasn’t too keen to purchase the full version. I then bought a different app that was $8. Worst money spent. I’ve immediately come back to this app & will be buying the full version. Reason being is the convenience of adding recipes, which I use the scanning of photos app. So simple. So quick. Easy to edit.
I also love the way this app categorises recipes. You can choose multiple options to find recipes eg. Dinner or noodles, breakfast or yoghurt, depending on how you label the recipes.
Many other apps have monthly or yearly subscriptions, which I am never a fan of as I think it’s always wasted money. This app is well worth the $30 one off payment. Don’t waste your money elsewhere. Just get this app and start organising your thousands of recipes in one place!
The App was Good until…
I have used the app for about a week and just found out about a limit of recipes. For infinite recipes it costs $30. If they could get rid of this problem I would use the app more but after 20 recipes, I have to delete some. It’s inefficient and annoying. Thank you and make sure to read the review developers!
Please fix the photo importing
Great app but didn’t get five stars due to not being able to take photos nor paste them once copied.
I’m on the pro version and when I import a recipe, it allows me to highlight picture but when I go to photos tab for the recipe, the ‘paste picture’ option is greyed.
Also tried to take a picture today of a recipe I added and it was a black screen. I have to take a photo with my camera, or screen shot it then ‘choose photos’. If you can fix this, it would really help.
Best Recipe storing app
Love this app.So easy to use and store your recipes.Allows you to import recipes from internet or you can take photos of recipes and import into your files
Only usable with the same apple ID
Cannot add any new recipes even though you purchased it to your phone. Pay again.
Great app
This is such a useful app - I use it every day and have put in my favourite recipes from around 50 cookbooks. It’s so easy to do and the formatting is great. It automatically adjusts quantities accordingly to serving size and you can easily plan meals too. I just wish the price included family sharing not just one user.
Fantastic!!..(just a bit glitchy)
I love love love this app! Love it so much I used up the fee recipe slots +just purchased the unlimited version in no time! So worth it!! Super easy to use, great function being able to import recipes from websites then you can tweak it how you like. Love that you can create your own categories, I’m starting to fill up my Cocktail, Halloween +Xmas categories, much better than my old system of bookmarking websites in my favourites section.
It only loses a star cos it’s one of the glitchier apps I’ve used. I’ve discovered two recipes so far that will not import no matter what I do, the app just crashes. +sometimes it will close halfway through adding a recipe so you have to start again but then it’ll add ok. But in saying that it’s just so fantastic for organising that it’s still well worth the price! I just hope that these lil niggly bugs will be fixed with some future updates.
This app is my “Right Hand Man” 🤗
I don’t know how I managed without this app. I have it on my iPad,phone and laptop.
The planner is so handy. I have a pretty good idea what I have in the freezer (maybe not at the bottom), so I can plan for at least a week ahead and make sure I have all the ingredients.
Each day I can check the planner, click on the recipe for the and it’s there in front of me. I can check the next day or two to see if I need to take meat from the freezer to defrost in the fridge.
This app makes meal planning a no-brainer. If you don’t have it - get it!
Love
I absolutely love this app. Have been able to pull all my favourite recipes from cookbooks and magazines, have been able to throw out all the loose recipe cards and random internet printouts. No longer searching through all my photos for screenshots of recipes. Bought an iPad for the kitchen and for this app. Cooking life organised!
Traveller’s Friend
Recipe Keeper has become my go-to camping companion. But it’s also my constant companion when back home. Most recipes in my collection have come from the internet, but many are from favourite books, magazines and from family members. Much easier to call up the recipe on my phone when travelling, whether in camp or in the grocery shop. So convenient!
