I’m not a bot and I’m not being paid to write this. I simply canNOT ignore the genius of this App and I need more people to know about it because it’s pure magic. When I mean magic, I mean as I began learning the App, I was absolutely blown away by the feeling that they were in my head little home cook brain while writing code. If you have 300+ IG recipes stored with no way of easily transcribing them (step aside “recipe me” app), this is the app. If you loved Yummly, this is the app. If you want to simply Google search for a recipe and have it all transcribed from long-winded webpage (ads so bad you can hardly read the screen) to a clear and concise cookbook style page, this is the app. If you want flawless shopping list and meal planning off-shoots, this is the app. Lastly (but NOT leastly ;), IF YOU WANT TO COMPILE EVERYTHING YOU’VE STORED INTO A LITERAL COOKBOOK YOU CAN PRINT AND LAMINATE AND KEEP IN YOUR CUPPBOARD…this is the app. I have beans on the stove so I’ve gotta go, but seriously this is the BEST $20 I’ve ever spent on any kind of kitchen “gadget” God bless, y’all.
I got this because the banner straight across the top of the App Store says it syncs across all of your devices. However, they fail to mention that you have to PAY for each of those platforms in order for them to sync
Was using a different AP before I found this one. Transferred all my recipes to this one and never looked back. It’s especially handy as it is on my phone as well and I use it when I grocery shop.
I used this app to preserve my elderly mother’s family recipes. I found it intuitive and easy to use. I was able to quickly and efficiently get the recipes into the app and then digitally share the cookbook with other family members or create a PDF cookbook for those that wanted a hard copy. Having a photo of the original recipe card is precious. The scan of the recipe card works pretty well and edits after the scan are simple. The app is also great at seamlessly importing recipes from web sites so you don’t have to pit up with the annoying adds and popups on the recipe when site. Excellent App!
Hi, I’m trying to determine menus and shopping list for the week and trying to go back-and-forth with family members. Suggestion: It will be far easier if we could each share our recipes between family members & friends in a shared group menu folders with ability to comment. Kind of like how sharing a Google file invitees can comment except here they’d also be able to share their own recipe picks too. Definately ability to drag & drop to arrange them by days of the week order, and comment. Or kind of like iPhone photos let you create shared albums. Suggestion: Then also icons we can click on - heart each recipe If it’s a keeper, if it can be made under 30 minutes if it can be made under 60 minutes, does it require overnight or earlier prepwork? Is it gluten-free? Can it be made ahead of time? Is it dairy free? and then the usual vegan, vegetarian
Decided to give this app a quick try, so easy to take a picture of a recipe, organize, create a cookbook, search for ingredients, create a grocery list. So far I haven’t found anything I can’t do with it. Loaded almost 200 recipes in just a few hours.
We cook at home 4-5 nights a week. We rely on a stockpile of our favorite recipes but also incorporate new ones all the time. Recipe keeper is the #1 best ever recipe app I’ve used! It’s simple, imports recipes beautifully, and is easy to see and use. It’s the best!!
I’ve been an avid user of this app for over two years now, and it’s truly one of the best available. Its user-friendly interface, extensive recipe database, meal planner, and various other convenient features make recipe and meal planning an absolute breeze. The app is definitely worth the price, and I highly recommend it. However, I have a suggestion for the developers to consider. I understand the need for a per OS per account policy, but it would be fantastic if there were an option to share recipes with family members or groups. Currently, this is not possible beyond import and export functionalities. A potential solution could be to allow recipe sharing within a family or group, perhaps requiring all memebers to have a pro account and maintain the same OS, thus adhering to the existing policy. This addition could be a win-win, enhancing user experience without affecting revenue. I’m excited to see how this app continues to evolve and would love to hear the developers’ thoughts on this concept. It’s already a near-perfect app, and this enhancement could make it even better
I love this app! All my recipes, always, right at my fingertips. I love being able to share them easily. So easy to add a recipe from any where: a photo, a website, a picture or an old recipe card. To make it even better, please add a macros breakdown feature.
