How much does Recipe Keeper cost?
Recipe Keeper has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 99.99 zł.
Beware!
Mac & iPhone version sold separetely.
The app is nice, but the advertising is false. The authors are fully aware of this fact as for my complaint they were able to respond in… one minute (60 seconds!).
60 seconds to write a whole page of explanation how sorry they are about their false advertisement.
Polish fonts
After update, when i type from Logitech K480 there are no polish fonts ( Ł, Ć, Ó, etc.) . Iphone keyboard works fine.
Intentionally misleading
When you purchase the upgrade to pro, they tell you verbatim that you can share recipes “across all your Windows, Android, iOS and Mac devices” but don’t tell you that you have to buy a separate subscription for each platform. They do this on purpose and when I reached out wanting to see if there was a solution, i never got a response and it’s been months. Don’t get this app if you have an iphone and want to use recipe keeper on your windows tablet or any other combination. Bad customer service and super deceitful.
It's Just Wrong....
...to make a user pay again once they've already paid. I rebuildt my computer after the latest OS did a number on it, and now Recipe Keeper puts me in a Sign In / Purchase loop. Buy this app knowing that the developers can up the price at will and make you pay again to keep it operational.
Enhancement suggestion
Expand the advanced search to the cookbook publishing function. Also, it would be great to be able to have either custom sort or be able to sort by collection, course and category.
Just some ideas on improving what is already a great application.
Horrible app. Doesn’t keep recipes
Three times now this app has completely erased all my recipes. I wouldn’t recommend this app to my worst enemies.
Double Purchase on phone and Mac
Maybe I’m dumb, but I wasn’t aware when I got the pro version that I’d have to buy another pro version on my Mac too just to be able to sync across platforms. This app is not worth $45 (because of course it’s more on Mac) just to sync between devices. It legit wouldn’t even let me sign in without purchasing the pro version on my computer.
Perfect but..
Can you make it so I can share on my husbands device & we can both have the grocery list ?
Kinda makes it so one person is more responsible than the other while using this tool
Why do I have to pay for multiple memberships
I paid for pro on 1 device but in order to link it to my other device I have to pay for pro again just to sign into my already paid for account
Almost perfect
The app itself and the functionality is amazing. Uploading handwritten recipes was so easy and fast. My one big issue is that my partner can’t log into the app on their phone. You can only use the app on devices with the same appleID. This means I spent $20 on something my partner can’t access, and makes it useless for meal planning unless I want it all to fall on me (which I don’t). This is not made clear in the description and is a bad practice. The description talks about family meal planning, but my family can’t access my recipes unless they also pay $20. Super disappointed
