## Record Collector Magazine Description
Record Collector is Britain’s longest-running rock and pop music monthly. Our motto is “Serious about music”, because we know our readers are totally passionate about what they listen to. You don’t have to be a vinyl freak to love Record Collector. We pride ourselves on bringing you the best features about music, with artist interviews, discographies and all the inside knowledge that only RC can deliver. And it’s not only rock’n’roll: we cover pop, soul, 80s, psychedelia, folk, rockabilly. If it’s good enough, it has a place in RC. The magazine boasts a formidable reviews department in which modern gems nestle alongside classic reissues; we sift the musical treasures from retro rubbish; we tell you what’s happening in the world of music auctions, and there’s all the news that any discerning music fan could want.

## Record Collector Magazine Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "What a shame"
I adore this magazine. However, beware this app. A recent update has resulted in me losing all my prior purchases. At £5.99 each! I contacted help and was given ZERO support. Really pretty shameful. Avoid and don’t waste your money.
-- Campington, 2024-05-29

### *---- "Record collector"
App doesn’t work, just get a black screen
-- Graham369, 2021-01-25

### ***** "Great Magazine"
Full of interesting articles pertaining to the art of collecting records/cds etc. Totally enjoyed my years subscription, the iPad version carries across excellently from the paper format, this enables zooming in on different parts of a page.

Thanks again guys/gals...!!!
-- Broadbandrocks, 2020-10-24

### *---- "Couldn't even get started"
I'm so disappointed with this app.
1. On the App Store and in the About section of the app, it says you can get single issues for £3.99. This is not true. They are £5.99 and only go back six months.
2. On the App Store it says you can download a free sampler. This doesn't seem to exist.
3. I contacted Sue at Record Collector about this and was told to contact Apple. This is blatantly ignorant of how the App Store works.
4. The App Support button on the App Store links to a dead page on the Record Collector website. So there is no formal way to query this.
5. Record Collector needs to invest in both their app and website urgently. In today's world, no website / app is often a better solution than a bad offering - innovate or fail.

### ***** "Great Magazine."
Great Magazine.
-- paulgibbo, 2016-12-30

### ***** "Record Collecter"
I've been buying this great mag since it joined The Beatles mag (2nd issue) way way back.
It's informative, with great articles and now it's got its own app! At least I have a slice of history with my mags, but the app is great if you're on the train and it's not cluttering your already choked handbag!
-- JannyPanny, 2014-07-20

### ***** "Good content, shame about the app"
Needs a bookmark and seems to take along time to come into focus.
-- Pamidovo, 2013-12-11

### **--- "Pretty good but could do better"
Lacks a bookmark option which is really annoying as the app doesn't remember where you're up to after you exit. Would also be good if we were notified when a new issue was available to download. Otherwise a very well put together magazine.
-- Murun64, 2013-12-06

### ***** "Record Collector"
Heresy!! I much prefer the print version of the magazine but I spend a fair bit of time travelling on trains and planes so the iPad version is an ideal substitute.
-- klozzers, 2013-06-02

### ***** "Previous bad review now superseded"
It took me a while but I eventually managed to subscribe....and am now glad I did. It is a beautifully put together magazine and the live links are a joy.
