## Red Funnel Ferries Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Lots of clicks and no Apple Wallet???"
Using this app now that the company has randomly removed the ticket machines from their terminals. It is amazing to me that in 2026 a (very expensive) transport company has no mechanism for saving an E ticket into Apple wallet… but then this company excels at inconveniencing its passengers….Buying a Red Jet ticket is also a faff - it makes you go through a whole process of selecting individual sailings when pre-booking isn’t an option so what’s the point (and yes, I know when off peak is)?….In just 20+ clicks, you too can enjoy the convenience of buying a ticket on the Red Funnel app.
-- Eau2Zone, 2026-07-13

### *---- "Redjet App"
Terrible App. Used to use ticket machines ( which have now been ripped out) App requires signal, battery Password a complucated menu and you have to bipass a whole load of marketing rubbish . The operation of buying a ticket used to take 15 seconds now the customer has to do a lot more work , divulge all their personal data and i defy any new customer to do it in less than 5 minutes. Another disaster from redfunnel who are unable to put the customer first.
-- Seafarer 007, 2026-06-12

### ****- "New app is a big improvement!"
Thanks for updating the app. This fixes the problems I had with the old app. Original review included below.

OLD REVIEW: The 'your next journey' section doesn't show anything on the day of sailing, only the day before. This needs to be fixed please. Also the app logs you out too quickly, by the time you need to have you ticket scanned the app times out.
-- rubberfish1, 2026-06-02

### ****- "Big improvement"
The new app looks great and is way easier to use than the last version, all that needs adding is Apple wallet support for easy access to tickets.
-- Jurijxo, 2026-05-30

### *---- "Updated app"
Long awaited update for the app. Still needs several server calls to view timetables, several more to view tickets (especially a problem in Southampton terminal where mobile signal can be poor), and still no ability to download tickets to Apple Wallet like every single other travel provider has had for years. #redfail
-- D I S C O Stu, 2026-05-28

### *---- "Won’t sign me in"
Won’t sign me in. Opened new account and Password but does not recognise me when I try to login.
-- iD fail, 2026-04-22

### *---- "Won’t work on iPhone - don’t waste your time downloading"
Downloaded app, can’t log in, keeps reverting back to an empty log in- pure frustration in an unusable app. Not worth the effort of downloading.
-- clare jpjp, 2026-04-10

### **--- "Drops out"
On a regular basis the app signs you out so you have to resign in manually because it won’t allow your saved details to be entered. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still stays the same. This is the only app I have which does this. This happens on both my iPhone and my ipad. Most frustrating.
-- Neil230761, 2026-03-20

### *---- "Doesn’t work on an iphone17"
I am unable to get this app to login. It just keeps going back to the login screen without ever doing anything. Not worth downloading
-- KS1Parent, 2026-03-17

### *---- "Was useless, now getting worse"
This app has always suffered from too many problems to list. It now does not function at all. I’m glad that the most expensive ferry fares in the known world are funding something so comedically bad.
