## Red Mahjong Description
FREE Red Mahjong app - play mahjong online on your iPhone or iPad with real mahjong players or training bots. Play mahjong 24/7, chat, compete and improve your skills and rating!

Mahjong variations supported: Hong Kong mahjong, Japanese Riichi, and Red Mahjong for 2-4 players.

Originated in China, Mahjong is a rich game of strategy that you can learn and start playing in minutes!

Like many card games (e.g. gin rummy), mahjong is about drawing a tile and discarding a tile while collecting sets.
All you need in Mahjong is to assemble 4 sets of 3 tiles and one pair.
Sets can be a sequence of 3 tiles (called chow) or 3 tiles of a kind (called pung).

Red Mahjong is an online game, so an Internet connection is required. WIFI connection is not strictly necessary - Red Mahjong will play well even with slow 3G connection.
Red Mahjong app automatically reconnects you if your connection gets lost.
Moves are timed. If moves are not made in the allotted time, a standard pick-and-discard move will be made for you.

## Red Mahjong Reviews in United States

### ***** "Pretty good now"
Waited for a while for login fix to app. Play is nice and easy and can play with family across the world. Also Red is a friendly game.
-- Thesis hilarity, 2024-06-24

### **--- "not good"
confusing interface, hard to read tiles on board, tiles don't respond to taps.
-- Asan110, 2023-08-25

### ****- "Offline play? And login issue"
I love this app, it brings authentic mahjong. However everytime I log in with my google account, I am being forced to log back in every time I open the app, it’s extremely annoying. Also, does this app support offline play?
-- Emzolj, 2023-08-02

### *---- "Mahjong"
I hate this game don’t let people throw away jokers
-- Jadiezel, 2022-08-21

### ***** "Red Mahjong"
I love playing this game — for me - it is better than any other Mahjong I have tried
-- Connie99x, 2022-06-06

### ****- "Really good mahjong game"
I love that I can play against bots. I haven’t played mahjong in many years so it is great to get back into the game. I am unfamiliar with some of the designations under the rules beside player games and have not found anywhere I can learn what they mean so haven’t played against other people yet. Also, for the last two days I haven’t been able to login. I’ve tried everything I can think of but it doesn’t work. My internet connection is fine and everything else works. I do love this game but am very frustrated at this moment.
-- Gets harder quickly, 2022-05-29

### ****- "Great app!"
As a beginner to mahjong I found the app confusing at first but am starting to get into it. So far I have only competed against bots. Can’t find any human players yet. I would get tickets to play longer if I can find out how much they cost and where in the app to purchase. All in all a fine app! Thanks!

### ***** "So much fun!"
The best part of this game is playing with friends and family all over the country
-- ArcticSplendor13, 2021-07-25

### ***** "Exciting"
Very exciting to play
-- dinodindo, 2021-02-25

### ****- "I’m hooked"
It’s a tad slow but great for learning strategy
-- Shuehmom, 2021-02-10
