Its been YEARS since you can’t open reddit links via the app..
I can’t believe links still don’t redirect to the actual app…. Been like this for a year at least
Thank you, Reddit for killing Apollo and forcing us to use this garbage.
Videos wont play, or will play in background after it kicks you back to the top of the page, loading times are trash and the app barely fubctions.
1. Videos keep muting themselves. I press unmute and after less than a second it mutes again. 2. Opening media post in full screen and swiping up or down goes to a totally random post. 3. App says that 90% of redgifs videos have no sound when they in fact DO have it. 4. Navigation is absolutely terrible: a) there is no way to go to cross posted original or the original subreddit. b) can't directly open profile or settings if you are not in home screen. And many more. 3rd party apps were 10x better.

Basically an ad-ridden, data-mining facebook-ed the f out version of Apollo
Third-party applications are much better.
