So every time I’m scrolling and my palm relaxes on the bottom left, or my thumb brushes the top of the screen, I get sent back to the top and sometimes it refreshes the feed entirely so I can’t even scroll back down to where I was. The UX from this alone makes me wish I could leave two 0 star reviews. I don’t know anyone that likes this feature either.

Reddit is rampant with toxic, power-tripping moderators who get off on overreaching their jurisdictions. For example, they can ban a user because that user belongs to another sub - regardless of their engagement in the moderator’s sub.

There is also a supreme lack of freedom of speech and most subs are echo chambers full of seething idiots who ridicule anyone who opposes their opinions. Subsequently, those few ostracised users are often banned.

It’s just disgusting and partly caused by general laziness on Reddit’s behalf, because they want the platform to be as autonomous as possible, without them having to put any effort in.
