The app doe not have a current location button so you have to move and zoom the map. I have a farm around the corner from me that isn’t on the list and I notice a lot of farms not listed around me (default is 100 mikes). I’m hopeful this app gets better. -- Mobile Jukebox, 2026-09-01 ### **--- "Farms too far" Why would you want me to turn location on if you are going to show me farms thousands of miles away. Not to mention, there were a few that were only hundreds of miles away, yet those were in the middle of the list. Please fix your app logic, add a radius, and put nearest distance first. -- JJ001010, 2026-08-31 ### *---- "Truly Awful" I tried to look for chicken eggs in my area: 1) it gave me listings that were, at least, 2000 miles away and 2) before I could tap on any entry, the app would shutdown. I rebooted my iPhone to make sure the problem was not my cellphone. However, the app continued to shutdown. The developers need to do a great deal more work and testing before releasing an app such as this. It gives me no pleasure to ever write a bad review. -- Craig Dayton, 2026-07-31 ### ***** "Excited & being patient!" Such a gorgeous concept I absolutely love it. I am in oregon and not seeing any farms signed up in my state but I hope with time they do! Thank you for creating this. -- Saphire382, 2026-07-13 ### ***** "Phenomenal App and Resource!" Where has this app been all my life?! Over the moon with this intuitive and easy to utilize app. Incredible resource for locating all things local for meats, produce, dairy and so much more! Literal game changer! Farms and suppliers I never knew existed, and I am on the search perpetually! Thank you to the smart folks who conceived of and created this network of goodness! -- SusanFRN, 2026-04-29 ### ***** "Finally!" Trying to buy from local farms has been made so much easier with this app! So tired of the terrible grocery store products. Stay healthy and buy local! -- ChiTown Mom, 2026-04-29 ### *---- "Kicks Me Off" As soon as I use the search engine, it kicks me off each time. -- Frequently Flustered, 2026-03-01 ### ***** "Exactly What Local Food Needed" I’ve always wanted to buy from local farms but never knew how to find them. Red Hen solved that problem instantly. The app shows all the growers in my area, what they’re selling, and makes ordering simple. I’ve already connected with three local farms and a backyard gardener. This is how food should be bought - directly from the people who grow it. Game changer! -- RyanM7625, 2026-02-24 ### *---- "Didn’t work out" Saw a farmer nearby. It Didn’t provide any contact info just a purchase option for eggs. Bought em. No way of contacting farm or RedHen for support. Farm disappeared from all maps. Tried messaging. Nada. No way to contact app. Filed dispute thru app. Nada. Had to file a dispute through my bank. Waste of time -- Greg5639393, 2026-02-02 ### ***-- "Not for AZ" Have no idea how this helps find CSA shares or support local farmers? I live in Phoenix and only one farm period pops up. At least its a sustainable and regenerative farm, but includes zero info on ordering from them. -- Jessiednb, 2025-11-29 [View all RedHen for Customers reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
