The app has many unnecessary and unclear features. As an example, I don’t get the purpose of this Read Later functionality. Why is it in a separate account? How does it differ from simply starring your articles? The tags might seem as a good way to organize your articles but if you really want to save something you would use your browser’s bookmarks or a third party bookmark manager. At the same time, it lacks some key features for simply reading the articles and keeping yourself up to date. Why not implement push notifications on per-feed or per-group basis as an example? The main purpose of RSS (the way it was intended to be used at least) is to keep yourself updated and push notifications is a great way to not miss anything. They can be scheduled as well to avoid cluttering. Also, some feeds cannot be added (e.g. Uber engineering blog). Nevertheless, it is by far the best app I could find on the market. It displays all articles correctly no matter the language they are written in. The UI is thought out as well. Syncing between macOS, iPhone and iPad is priceless. 4/5

It just sits there updating. But no feeds ever update. Used to be amazing. Now it’s useless.

I’ve used this app for years now, but now it crashes on open and support seems to have lapsed. It’s somewhat understandable since the new Reeder app has been out for a long time now, and I don’t really begrudge them the few bucks I spent to use this for years. It was great while it lasted.

This app is the best RSS reader I’ve found. Great support for many providers, Readability so it can fetch full text when a feed only has snippets, and simple unobtrusive design.

I’ve been using this for several years so I’m sure it’ll be fixed, but Pocket has recently broken. When I save articles from Feedly using swipe actions, they don’t always send to Pocket, and Pocket won’t sync so it appears empty within Reeder. The Pocket website works fine, that’s why I think it’s something on Reeder’s end that isn’t functioning properly.

It works, but the UI is a mess of meaningless nuttons. Then I did a swipe by mistake and the entire vanished with no apparent way to recover it. There are far better choices out there.

One of my most used apps of all time but lately, all of the fonts are all messed up in the app - need to go directly to the sites to actually read the posts.

TTS like the Eleven Labs Reader app but using iOS voices would be awesome.
