## Reeder Classic Description
Keep control of your news reading with Reeder Classic, RSS reader and read later client in one app, now with support for iCloud syncing.


FEEDS
Sync all your feeds and articles with iCloud. Reeder Classic comes with a built-in RSS/Feeds service which will keep everything in sync on all your devices. Of course, this is optional. You can still just use one of the many third-party services supported by Reeder or just RSS (without sync).


READ LATER
This is Reeder's built-in read later service which stores all your data securely in iCloud. A sharing extension allows you to add links from outside of Reeder.


BIONIC READING
A higher dimension of reading. With Bionic Reading you read texts with more focus, awareness, and sustainability. Read more about Bionic Reading at bionic-reading.com.


WIDGETS
View most recent articles, configurable to only show items from feeds, folders, searches (for services that support searches) or tags (for read later services).


MARK AS READ ON SCROLL
With version 5, Reeder finally supports marking items as read while scrolling. Off by default, this can be enabled on a per-account basis.


READER VIEW
Enter Reader View (for feed items and read later links that support this) for a clutter-free reading experience directly in Reeder's article viewer. You can enable "Automatic Reader View" on a per-feed basis to always load items of a feed with Reader View.

C’est la moins bien des applications rss. Netnewswire et feedbin sont bien mieux. 
De plus le développeur ne répond jamais et nous prend pour des vaches à lait en nous faisant payer une application qu’il rend obsolète quelques mois plus tard.

Everything is great except for one thing, there's no option to summarize and/or translate an article. There is lightweight and open source LLMs nowadays to do that at a very small cost. Specially to summarize a presented text, it doesn't need to know everything. Please add this feature 🙏

The app is great, but I wish there was an integration with Telegram. 

Nowadays most of the news is being delivered through Telegram channels, and being able to import them into the Reeder would make my life much easier.

Because the Reeder does not support telegram yet, I simply stopped using it actually

J’utilise cette application depuis le début et j’adore le design, le minimalisme le fait que je puisse regrouper plusieurs fournisseurs de rss comme feedly … mais une étoile en moins pour une chose qui me frustre !!! Pour passer de rss à read later il a y trop de clic ou de geste c’est mal pensé ! À moins que je n’ai pas trouvé le comment faire et je suis donc à l’écoute dans ce cas.

Je lis tous mes articles avec cette application depuis des mois et c’est vraiment le top! Il ne manque qu’une fonctionnalité qui permettrait d’énoncer le contenu de l’article qu’on souhaite lire!

Utilisateur de Reeder depuis des années/décennies sur iOS comme sous macOS, je sentais bien que tu n’étais parfois qu’apparence et design.

Ces derniers mois, ça patinait sec lors des synchronisations…

Était-ce mes 250 fils RSS ?
L’usage de betas sur tous mes écrans ? Ou mes consultations frénétiques ?!

Bref, la distance s’est peu à peu installée : Reeder reste une superbe application. 

J’ai opté pour un produit plus… rustique, en bleu de chauffe, moins raffiné (sic !). 

J’ai retrouvé des synchronisations immédiates sur mes trois écrans, des affichages instantanés. 

Alors oui, ma nouvelle app n’a pas le pixel soyeux… mais elle fait le taf.

...de nombreux problèmes, à commencer par le widget qui ne se rafraîchit que rarement et dont la place perdue (sur la version grande) en bas est énorme...dommage car il se fond bien avec le widget News d'Apple.

En dehors de ça, de gros problème d'ergonomie et une interface un peu vieillotte...il faut mettre les bouchées doubles pour regagner notre confiance ! 😉

Chaque « nouvelle » version nécessite de passer à la caisse pour finalement peu de nouveautés 
Jamais traduit malgré les nombreuses propositions pour le faire gratuitement 
Des bugs d’affichage dupliqué des images jamais réglés
Fonctions d’import jamais finalisées 
Aucune possibilité de filtrage des articles pour masquer ou mettre en avant certains sujets

Bon, cette application fait le boulot fe manière basique mais sans plus. Le support par le développeur est totalement inexistant
