## Reeder Classic Description
Keep control of your news reading with Reeder Classic, RSS reader and read later client in one app, now with support for iCloud syncing.


FEEDS
Sync all your feeds and articles with iCloud. Reeder Classic comes with a built-in RSS/Feeds service which will keep everything in sync on all your devices. Of course, this is optional. You can still just use one of the many third-party services supported by Reeder or just RSS (without sync).


READ LATER
This is Reeder's built-in read later service which stores all your data securely in iCloud. A sharing extension allows you to add links from outside of Reeder.


BIONIC READING
A higher dimension of reading. With Bionic Reading you read texts with more focus, awareness, and sustainability. Read more about Bionic Reading at bionic-reading.com.


WIDGETS
View most recent articles, configurable to only show items from feeds, folders, searches (for services that support searches) or tags (for read later services).


MARK AS READ ON SCROLL
With version 5, Reeder finally supports marking items as read while scrolling. Off by default, this can be enabled on a per-account basis.


READER VIEW
Enter Reader View (for feed items and read later links that support this) for a clutter-free reading experience directly in Reeder's article viewer. You can enable "Automatic Reader View" on a per-feed basis to always load items of a feed with Reader View.

Seit ein paar Tagen nicht mehr gut mit Feedly zu nutzen. Keine Ahnung, was da kaputtgegangen ist. 

Man kommt nicht mehr mit einem tippen direkt auf die Nachricht. Ist man dann doch auf der Nachricht gibt es nur die Überschrift zu sehen. Der Inhalt fehlt. Ich muss dann immer auf die Browseransicht umschalten.

Ich war etwas skeptisch, ob ich eine RSS Reader auf dem Handy brauche, aber inzwischen ist die Frage klar beantwortet. Reeder ist die App, die ich am häufigsten benutze und jeden Cent wert. 
Mein Wunsch wäre noch eine Version für die Apple Watch.

Really love this app but it seems there is no more support. Two support requests from like 6 months ago went unanswered and the reed it later feed crashes the app. Still using it daily since it is the best app, especially with bionic reading, but unfortunately no more updates. If it’s about money, look at the monetising concept of the app „Due“. I think this is the way to go and should also pay the developer fairly. 2024-04: App is still great! Figured the cause of one bug out. The „Read it later“ feed crashed for me when I had an unread article who’s title exceeded a certain length. This also makes it impossible for me to delete the article from my reading list because the confirmation window for deletion (or action menu) loads the whole title and you cannot scroll down in that menu to confirm.

The full-text reader view is very useful but it would be great if you could turn on that feature once and for all so you don‘t need to turn it on for every feed separately.

It would also be very useful if the reader view would be downloaded as well on sync.

Erst einmal veröffentlichen immer weniger Anbieter ihre News über RSS. Zweitens arbeitet die App nur noch absolut unzuverlässig. Das Abholen der News dauert endlos lange. Und drittens habe ich den Eindruck, dass sich an der App nicht mehr viel tut.
Schade, denn Reeder war mal richtig gut!

Ich hab mir die App geholt, weil ich das UI ansprechend fand. Zuvor habe ich Feeddler Pro genutzt, welches schon seit längerem nicht mehr aktualisiert wurde. Ja, Reeder sieht besser aus, aber die Performance beim Laden / Aktualisieren ist unter aller Kanone. Ich habe sehr viele Feeds. Feeddler lädt jeweils die 50 aktuellsten news je Feed. Reeder lädt scheinbar alles…während Feeddler innerhalb von Sekunde aktualisiert ist, braucht Reeder Minuten inklusive mehrerer Neustarts - Fazit: unbrauchbar! Auf Support-Anfragen hat der Entwickler gar nicht erst reagiert. Auch hier keine Empfehlung.
