Would love to use this but it doesn’t support code blocks in markdown when reading articles. So basically any technical articles are a no go. Willing to try once that is added. Nice lay out and like the idea or purpose of the app though.
Bluesky functionality is extremely unreliable
My Bluesky following feed has not fetched new items in 2 days. And there are certain people’s accounts I have added that are unable to fetch any items in them at all. Please fix this issue.
Not for me
This is not what I want in an ‘RSS’ reader.
Three issues
1. Why is swiping away an image so hard? Please make it more sensitive.
2. Also, when in article view, there’s no way to view it in browser unless you use share sheet (which is 2-3 taps) or scroll back up and tap the article title.
There needs to be another way to view an article in browser when you’re at the bottom of the said article.
3. Fetching new items takes forever. Not good.
One star until fixed. Thank you.
I get it now
I’ve been a long time user of Reeder and I’ll admit that I was disappointed when this was released. I just wanted an updated RSS feed reader and I thought the dev lost their way with this release. I spent the last year cutting back and cutting down on the sites/services that I’ve been using and this app is a great tool in siloing and consuming the stuff I decided to keep…
All it needs now is a “pure” black mode for mobile.
Certain Bluesky feeds fail to load new items
This happens even after the latest app update. When can we expect a fix?
Huge Step Back - Do Not Buy
This app is missing a ton of features already available in the previous app. This just needs to be a visually nice RSS reader. That’s it. The developer does not respond to email/feedback requests as you can see from the other reviews, but charges $10 subscription.
Clean layout!
Really nice app layout. I am looking forward to upcoming changes such as smart folders.
I’m looking forward to seeing this develop
I’m al long time fan of Reeder. This new app has an amazing look and feel. Having said that, not being able to delete/archive items is super frustrating to those of us who practice inbox zero or just want a clean look. But what is beyond maddening is not having any way to tell what I read and what I haven’t. It’s difficult to wrap my head around how this is considered a feature. Please fix these two issues and this will be the best RSS and read-it-later app in the app store.
Minimal and yet all I was looking for
An rss reader that can also bring together social feeds and YouTube into one timeline. On top of that does it all without triggering my app badge zero affliction where I can’t leave the tiny red number just hanging out there. This app lets me read, listen and stay informed without driving myself crazy. Well worth the annual subscription.
