Reflector Director allows you to manage the Reflector 4 desktop screen mirroring software from an iPad or iPhone. Step away from your computer and maintain control of shared content. View and manage connected device screens from the palm of your hand.

Use Reflector Director to highlight a device that’s connected to Reflector 4. Spotlight important content or action. Reflector Director brings screens to center stage for emphasis. Eliminate distractions by enabling full-screen mode. 
 
Preview Screens 
Reflector Director shows screen previews of any devices that are connected to Reflector 4, even if the screen is hidden to your audience. This allows you to know what’s going to be presented before you show a connected device screen to others in the room. 
 
Keep Audience Focused 
Add Reflector Director to any classroom or collaborative space to create a distraction-free environment. Spend more time concentrating on people and less time in front of a computer screen. 
 
Device Frames 
Use Reflector Director to select new device frames to display on mirrored screens, or choose to hide frames entirely. Displaying a frame around devices adds a polished and professional feel. 
 
Secure Pairing 
Pairing Reflector Director to Reflector 4 is easy and secure. Reflector Director even helps you easily connect to a computer’s Reflector software on limited and restricted networks. The apps are paired directly together with no in-between connections. Use a Quick Connect Code (TM), QR Code or Bluetooth to easily pair. 
 
How It Works 
Simply open the Reflector Director app on your iOS device and connect to the Reflector 4 software on your computer to begin managing the devices that are connected to the Reflector software. 
 
Reflector Director allows you to step away from your computer while still controlling how your audience views the devices that are connected to Reflector 4. Easily show and hide devices, emphasize screens, enable full-screen mode or change device frames all while away from your computer. 
 
Reflector Director is compatible with Reflector 4. It REQUIRES this application running on your computer:  
 
NOTE: Reflector Director does NOT allow you to mirror a device to your iPhone or iPad. Reflector Director DOES allow you to manage the devices that are connected to Reflector 4 software.

Reflector 4 used to work a few years ago, and when it did work it didn't require any other applications to work. After trying the software again in 2024, it won't connect at all, even after trying to connect via Reflector Director. I hope the product comes back around, but for now don't waste your time or money until a major update is published/announced.

I followed the steps on the website and they said to open this app. Much to my surprise it costs money, on top of the pricey computer application. After opening it, it does not show the same screen as shown on their website, nor does it connect at all as promised. This is a literal scam. If you are like me and you don’t have a degree in advanced engineering, you require apps that are simple and easy to use. This app is not one of them. This app requires a network connection to work perfectly between your iPad and computer. I have fiber optic wi fi that is extremely fast, but it just wouldn’t connect. I tried a dozen times, and it just kept giving me a network error message. I would not invest money in this app at all. I wish they offered refunds...

I paid the fee 6.99 with the idea that I could share this with my desktop. Still hasn’t connected to date. 

On top of that, support is telling me that I have to buy the 14.99 reflector desktop on top of that. Save yourself the headache and find an alternative solution. I just mirror my desktop now with zoom.

I am running Reflector Director 3 on my computer.

I know my devices are on the same network (I can ping my iPad from my PC). This just needs to work without chanting and without voodoo

This app enables the iOS to remotely manage other Refector 2 connected devices.

This does not allow the iPhone or iPad to pair with the Reflector 2 host. Thus no presenting from the iPad itself. The "Reflector Student" app is what I was looking for to "direct" or show a presentation from my mobile device.

Without a device to present with, this app seems to crash the desktop Reflector 2 application.
