REFSIX - Soccer Referee app

Love the new interface. Integration with IOS calendar and DB on phone for team names, venue addresses and league names would be helpful for grassroots referees. I know you plan on it but hopefully before the fall season.

With the new update, the calendar no longer syncs with the iCloud calendar. Can we please get this feature back?!

The “Start half time timer automatically” feature has not worked for me on iOS/Apple Watch since the most recent update. In-app support to send this issue isn’t working either. Please fix!

I’ve been trying to sign up, but i can’t seem to get it to work. When I do it on the app itself, it says “Something went wrong, please try again”. I have tried redownloading the app, restarting my phone, nothing has helped. When I do it on the website, it just shows loading sign and never makes an progress.

I wish the app could allow us to send out game reports from the app and not have to login into the web to send reports. Also it doesn’t have the auto filling option like the past version. I have to fill in every game the same location and division when it would be easier to have the auto fill. Please add those options and this app would be 10 out of 10. Thanks

Great app! Couldnt imagine reffing without it. Also use it as a coach to track my teams stats. Just would like the options to save a team and its roster so i dont have to input it everytime.

This app is amazing for referees!! I use it all the time. I love that I can input info into it and I’ll bring up past info so I don’t have to type in all the characters again. The only thing I wish it did was connect to arbiter so that it would sinc the games that are assigned with it. I haven’t used it yet but i like that o can enter the card info with the infraction so I can refer to it when I do the final game report!

I live in the Apple Ecosystem and have had several Apple Watches but it wasn’t until the Apple Watch batteries got a bit more robust in the Apple Watch 8 that I made the jump from dedicated Soccer Watch like my Spintso Pro to this App. The primary driver was that most soccer watches are terrible because they either do too little or try to do too much. The Spintso Pro is the best of the dedicated watches but it’s pricey and it tries to be a daily driver watch too which is its shortcoming. It’s not only expensive but the screen is way too dim even at brightest settings and UI is mediocre at best. Enter Apple Watch 8 and Refsix. The Apple Watch 8, like the Garmins, has great battery life but what I love about then Apple Watch 8 is that it’s the brightest of any smart watch period. I live in SoCal so we have a lot of bright days and I have no issue seeing my watch which hasn’t been the case with every other watch with the exception of an older indiglo watch I had. But let’s dig in deeper, the biggest criticism i had initially of Refsix was that it was way too expensive. I don’t want to have to rent my watch app for an outrageous monthly and I am not a professional ref not to I ever plan to be. I am an ex pro player but too old for pursuing that work. I don’t need all the features Refsix has. The gos heat tracking is cool but I don’t really care that much. I don’t need to enter team names or submit reports back to my league. I am just a dad with two girls who HAS to volunteer and help out and I enjoy reffing. The good news is that I reached out to Refsix and they let me know about their beta plan that is $1.99 per month and has the basic features I need. That works for me because features and bugs don’t get fixed for free and I would like to see this app continue to improve. So while I’m happy with Refsix today I am really looking forward to them fixing and augmenting a few things. Right now I can set up my games the night before and then work 3-4 back to back U-10 or U12 games while recording goal scorers without missing a beat and then I have a permanent record of these games and scores (in addition to the paper cards in hand in). It works great. I can set up different game templates and specify team colors and names and it’s pretty smooth. I just wish they would revisit the watch app and squash some bugs and add some more simplicity to UI. I’ve had the REFSIX app for a year now and it has made keeping track of time, cards, goals and my performance very simple.

This is the basic tool for every Referee. I started using it on an Apple Watch 6 years ago. It has replaced my book, S*o watch, and G*n device with strap. With the data consolidated in one place. It allows me to report game activities, stoppage time and tracks my positioning. Post match, I’m able write notes, view my positioning on the field, and add tags that I can go back and search on. The developers are really good about listening to their users and adding proper functionality.
