## Regain Description
Can't study without checking your phone every five minutes? You're not the only one. Regain is the focus app built purely for students - block the apps that distract you, start a focus timer, and finally get through a study session without Instagram or YouTube pulling you away.

Whether you're preparing for board exams, college entrance tests, or professional certifications, Regain helps you put in the hours.

FOCUS TIMER
Set a timer, lock in, and study. Choose your duration and tag each session by subject (Physics, Organic Chemistry, or whatever you're on).

POMODORO TIMER (PRO)
Stay focused and get more done with the classic Pomodoro technique. Focus, recharge, repeat - customize your focus and break durations, with support for both short and long breaks.

BLOCK DISTRACTING APPS
When you start a focus session, Regain blocks the apps you choose - like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Reddit, and Twitter/X - until your timer ends. Powered by Apple's Screen Time, so Regain never sees which apps you block or accesses your screen time data.

STRICT MODE (PRO)
For students who want an extra layer of self-commitment. When you turn on Strict Mode, your session runs for the full duration you selected - helping you build the habit of finishing what you start. Enable or disable it anytime from Settings.

FOCUS GUARD (PRO)
An opt-in reminder that helps you follow through when willpower dips during a focus session. You stay in control - toggle Focus Guard on or off anytime from Settings.

FOCUS STATS
Watch your focus improve day over day, with a per-subject breakdown so you know exactly which subjects got your attention.

FOCUS MUSIC (PRO)
Science-backed sounds built for concentration: Lofi Beats, Deep Focus Ambience, White Noise, Space, and Binaural.

THEMES (PRO)
Personalize your focus screen with beautiful Nature and Lofi wallpapers.

FREE VS PRO
The free tier includes unlimited focus sessions and a stopwatch. Regain Pro unlocks Pomodoro, Strict Mode, Premium Themes, and Science-Backed Focus Music.

PRIVACY
Sign in with Apple or Google is optional — signing in syncs your subscription across your devices. Your focus data always stays on your device, whether you sign in or not. Regain uses Apple's Family Controls to block distractions and never sees the names of the apps you block.

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings.

Terms of Use: &

-- shubham0007, 2026-10-06

### *---- "Bad"
I paid for pro version. Groups are not loading at all. So bad. No correction even after mailing them
-- Pinkyreview, 2026-10-01

### *---- "Worst app ever"
Worst app ever asking my screen time access and when I delete the app it is asking screen time passcode which I don’t know
-- Rajinikanth2, 2026-09-30

Not good for ios, some features are not available
-- Xoxosaam, 2026-09-29

### *---- "Worst application"
I have used it for a week like 72 hrs i have saved as a progress and this application had a glitch of network issue so i reinstalled it and all my saved data was gone
-- Ujjawal9077, 2026-09-29

### ***** "Nothing"
Can you pls add group feature in iPads so we can join other group and study with them
-- Ashva R., 2026-09-28

### ****- "Blocking problem"
2 star becuz
It does not block the main distracting apps (instagram).
I tried many things but still not blocking the app even after selecting all things. Very disappointing
-- Shreeshinnn, 2026-09-25

### *---- "Continuous study loop"
I had a 6 hour study session which looped itself after the long break. What happened was my ipad had been turned off for quite some time so the pomodoro timer was on the “long break” and when i tapped on end break the study session began again and i cant use important apps now. Please fix this! I cannot even uninstall the app!!
-- CrownedDemon, 2026-09-22

### *---- "Updating my comment after 3 days of use"
Earlier when i purchased on first day i gave 5 stars because it worked so well now after 3 days the blocked apps have started to being accessible even in strict mode and I am pro user . This is not acceptable i tried mailing you guys but still waiting for response. I want to cancel the subscription will surf for better apps.
-- AM@12, 2026-09-21

### ***-- "ADD TIMER IN NOTIFICATION PANEL"
Overall, the app is good but the timer should also be available in the notification panel, otherwise the mind keeps wondering about how much time is left.
-- Vishal878627, 2026-09-17

### ***-- "No study mode on youtube"
Why is not study mode not available in ios😡😡
-- Official user*, 2026-09-16

### *---- "Pathetic"
I uninstalled and reinstalled, all my saved progress disappeared. It appears that these guys use a local storage for these kind of information.

There is no real time timer on the notification bar, and on top of that, whenever a pomodoro or a break ends or starts, there is no notification for that. So to sum up, this app doesn’t even have any notifications on iOS it seems like.

This honestly feels like a school project rather than a scaled product.
-- Sujal Haldar, 2026-09-15

### *---- "Very Bad working"
Don’t buy its subscription App not working well and very cheap quality user interface and experience very very bad
-- Ashi_xo1, 2026-09-15

### **--- "Some pro features not available on ios"
I saw that this app’s pro version provides blocking of reels and shorts on my friend’s android phone and also the video of pro stated these features but after buying pro on iOS these features were not there only 3-4 limited features were there which were available on free version as well pls bring all those features on iOS asap bcoz otherwise your pro subscription on IOS is basically of no use
-- Rushil2184, 2026-09-11

### ****- "Group feature"
App is amazing, i have used it before on android but now that I’ve switched to IOS there is not a group feature which is the only downside. Please make the group feature available on IOS
-- sms1411, 2026-09-08

### *---- "Add live with friends feature in ios"
Andrid one is much bettwr as it has group study feature where here it is nothing

Can you pls consider this a genuine request to add that to ios
-- Deepakjadli, 2026-09-07

### ***** "Best app for focus"
This is literally the best app I have used and this has actually made me put down my phone when I usually have 10+ hours of screen time.
-- Iser 195196, 2026-09-06

### **--- "Account sync issues across iPad and android"
Hello my account is not synced across android and iPad app. Although I have used same Gmail account to login on both devices it shows as different account. Please fix sync issues

-- harshh15, 2026-09-04
