## Remote Desktop - RDP Description
Using your iPhone or iPad, you can connect to your Windows Workstation Computer and see the files, programs, and resources exactly as you would if you were sitting at your desk, just on a smaller screen. 

Mocha Remote Desktop (RDP) provides access to a PC running Windows XP Professional or Windows 7/8/10. 

HOME edition or Windows 200x Servers cannot be supported.

- Standard RDP protocol.
- 8/16 bit color mode for faster screen updates.
- Zoom and scroll as the Safari Browser.
- Landscape mode.
- View only mode.
- Mouse left/right click, drag , hover and  wheel.
- Support for  Swiftpoint GT hardware mouse.
- Support for  a Bluetooth mouse, when using an iPad.
- Support for Mouse Easy. Use an iPhone as a bluetooth trackpad.
- WOL (Wake on LAN). 
- Printing. 
- Barcode scanner.
- NETBIOS name support for easy configuration 
- Banners with extra keys (ctrl, alt,shift, arrows f1 f2...).
- Stylus pen
- Unicode keyboard support (any keyboard type)
- Have patent license for the RDP protocol from Microsoft. 


LIMITATIONS
- Windows HOME edition cannot be used, as it does not include the RDP protocol.
- Support for Windows XP Professional or Windows 7/8/10. We cannot offer Windows 200x Server access, as it will require another patent license from Microsoft.

I‘m using RDP from Mocha for many years and for me its the best RDP client among many. Unfortunately it often crashes on iOS 16 and 17. not sure if its because of lack of RAM of my iPhone 12.

Nutze die App seit 8+ Jahren. Bin immer wieder erfreut, dass alles so gut klappt. Per VPN rein, über WOL die Rechner aus den Sleep holen und dann per RDP einloggen. Arbeiten umsetzten und Rechner wieder schlafen legen. RDP ermöglicht dies alles auf dem iPhone problemfrei und zuverlässig.

Ich habe die Software lange Zeit genutzt, in  Verbindung mit meinen Windows homeserver , leider geht seit dem letzten Update der connect nicht mehr .. „Host Close the Session „ ist die entsprechende Meldung. 
Mit dem kostenlosen Microsoft Tool verbindet sich der homeserver problemlos...

### ***** "Warten auf 4.6"
Ist seit langem eine super RDP-Lösung für IOS. Und ich nutze es schon einige Jahre. Funktioniert auch via VPN gut.
Leider kann die 4.5 Version seit dem März Update von Windows 10 keinen Connect mehr herstellen. Auf der Website ist 4.6 aber schon angekündigt. Also im Prinzip eine schnelle Reaktion der Entwickler. Hängt wohl irgendwo auf dem Weg zum Kunden :-).
