Filmic Remote v4 is now integrated directly into Filmic Pro v7.5. Remote Legacy is designed for use with Filmic Pro v7.4.2 and earlier (including Filmic Legacy). It offers wireless control and monitoring of your Filmic Pro experience. Filmic Remote puts your spare iOS devices into the production process. Remote v3 offers three modes of capability: Control, Monitor and Director. Control mode provides the familiar Filmic Pro interface for complete remote camera control over hard to reach camera placements such as sliders, jib arms, car mounts, microphone stand or other compelling live event camera placements. Set up your Filmic Pro device and then control all settings and recordings from the Remote: - Start/Stop record functions. - Focus/exposure reticle placement and locking. - Dual arc slider manual controls for focus and exposure. - Pull-to-point focus and exposure pulls. - Create and load Filmic Pro presets from Filmic Remote. Monitor mode gives you cinema production capability for a fraction of the cost, offering a four-up display with the following powerful analytics: - Video preview: Reference video for use with analytics screens. - Waveform monitor: Visually identifies signal brightness segmented from left to right across a video feed. Used in conjunction with the video preview it can provide a quick snapshot of brightness in your video. - Vectorscope: Displays color saturation, by channel, across the entire image. - Histograms: RGB composite, Luminance, Zone and RGB channel. Director mode provides a clean video preview. This is perfect for providing a director, producer or crew with a device to monitor the production remotely. You can switch between modes on the fly to check analytics and composition. Remote can also be set up in ‘preview-only’ mode allowing a camera operator to perform all controls from the device running Filmic Pro and allowing the Remote to be used solely for monitoring. Create your mobile studio today with Filmic Remote! Notes: - The use of Filmic Remote on one iOS device requires the simultaneous use of Filmic Pro on an additional device. Both devices must be running iOS 13 or later. - Filmic Remote connects to Filmic Pro using Wi-Fi either on an established network or using a peer-to-peer network (for using in areas where a Wi-Fi network is not present). - Filmic Remote can connect to any iPhone or iPad running Filmic Pro and is not cross platform. ## Remote Legacy Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/9d/78/bf/9d78bfb6-0254-05b4-426b-4b6007b0df1f/pr_source.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/b4/06/67/b4066761-ec47-eab2-6710-0993de33c531/pr_source.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/da/70/0d/da700d26-3488-e462-5786-c03225e961af/pr_source.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/de/eb/0c/deeb0c01-76ff-682d-d9c6-c474821c9a87/pr_source.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/1a/f4/d9/1af4d935-2368-1ffe-879b-1dd6ae66f1c7/pr_source.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/13/ff/17/13ff1782-098f-fd98-11ff-ad1a57ffed8c/pr_source.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/27/4b/45/274b45f7-60e5-1455-51d1-8566882ffeac/pr_source.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/d6/0a/54/d60a549b-80a0-1e00-6f9f-7bd312fdd970/pr_source.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/15/92/8a/15928a47-694d-0235-44a9-c88066b3fec0/pr_source.png/2688x1242.png) ## Remote Legacy Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 16 (14%) - 4 stars: 5 (4%) - 3 stars: 9 (8%) - 2 stars: 10 (9%) - 1 stars: 74 (65%) ## Remote Legacy Reviews in United States ### *---- "Scam" I can’t support a company that secretly rips off their customers. I paid for remote and suddenly it’s completely gone. I will report the actions for fraudulent actions -- Officialjrduncan, 2024-03-15 ### *---- "I paid for the app, I paid for the remote" I paid for both the app and remote. Now I can no longer use the remote unless I pay for a subscription. Total ripoff, total scam. Will never support. -- IAmMisterX, 2023-10-27 ### ***-- "Simple And Functional, But" It is locked in the horizontal orientation, so vertical video is displayed within a massive letterbox. Please add vertical orientation support!! -- EthanPencil, 2023-06-14 ### *---- "Developer is scammer" Purchased V6 before August 2022. Haven’t used app recently. Creator disabled original app. When I download legacy version of app it shows a message that I can access the legacy version, under SETTINGS -> INFO of the new V7 app. There is no DOWNLOAD LEGACY APP option under INFO. Apple should police abusive scams like this. I don’t need a subscription for an app that I rarely use. Read the user agreement. It is scary! -- drake_malladity, 2023-03-08 ### *---- "Not useful" Didn’t like the app it’s laggy and not useful wish I could refund it i downloaded and paid for it to see what it does literally took 5 mins to see It wasn’t useful. -- pfit28, 2023-03-03 ### *---- "Useless" Have no idea if it’s any good or not, because I can’t get it to open or synch my iPhone to my iPad. -- jauxmama, 2023-03-02 ### ***** "Great for controlling hard to reach B camera" Used this for controlling an iPhone 14 placed on a mic stand above a piano keyboard. Able to start and end record function and monitor operation for over an hour. App was running on an iPad Pro 12 inch (2019). Sure beats climbing up on a ladder. Yes there is a lag on the iPad monitor but the iPhone video is pristine. Even with lag I can see pianist’s hands and confirm a good result. Very pleased. -- Forsoothful, 2023-02-24 ### *---- "How do I get my money back!" Not worth it -- ggh$ffggh, 2022-12-29 ### *---- "Pay Again? I dont think so" I paid for this app a year ago, even $15 for the remote app, now they go to a monthly subscription. What a rip off, they should be ashamed -- Standonman, 2022-12-29 ### *---- "Subscription model bait and switch" On the companion app a paid for pro app was swirched to a subscription and the paid for pro app will no longer receive feature updates…rendering this app useless. -- frankg2007, 2022-12-24 [View all Remote Legacy reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Remote Legacy Discovered Keywords -
