Having tried various vnc/ssh apps I rate this as the best because it works without hassle every time on the iPad and Mac.  The graphics are so much clearer than other packages which, together with reliability, make it a pleasure to use.  Use it mainly to access Raspberry Pis with tightvncserver, much better than the vnc server shipped with Raspian.

Originally worked well and I purchased the SSH extension. However several months ago the in-app purchase disappeared. In October they acknowledged the problem on their help pages and suggested a work around, which didn't work for me. Then they blamed Apple and the problem still hasn't been fixed.

I've had Remoter VNC for years now and have always found it a very stable and well designed app. A five star app.

Unfortunately, the last update has some usability issues (iOS 8 on iPad 2) and it loses a star from me.

a. Full screen mode cannot be exit from without killing the app

b. I can see the benefit of building a command line locally on the device before sending it over the network but if I need to log into a SSH session and edit a file with vi, it's painful. Please make it possible to switch between buffered and unbuffered modes.

c. Didn't it use to be one tap to open a session? Now it's two taps. Having the settings on an icon was better than the sliding panel.
