RentLog is a rental management app built for independent landlords in California. Keep properties, tenants, rent, bills, documents, photos, and move-out records together in one app.

No account required. Your data is stored on your device and is not automatically synced to the cloud.

Manage Every Rental by Stage

Idle → Lease Signed → Move-In Prep → Occupied → Move-Out Pending → Deposit Settlement

Properties & Tenants

• Add and manage rental properties; create a tenancy record for an occupied rental in one step
• Record tenant details, lease dates, rent, and security deposits
• See each property’s current status and pending tasks
• Keep a complete rental history for every property

Rent & Records

• Record rent payments and track remaining balances
• After allowing notifications, receive rent reminders 3 days before the due date, on the due date, and 3 days after
• Generate rent receipts
• Record expenses, maintenance tickets, and utility charges

Lease & Move-In

• Create lease records and record the security deposit and first month’s rent
• Work through a move-in checklist item by item
• Photos can be labeled with the archive time and property address for easier recordkeeping
• Support separate handwritten signatures from landlord and tenant
• Export move-in inspection PDF reports
