After 9 months of having Reolink I massively regret the decision. Whenever we try to add new cameras etc through LAN or wireless it is an entire day if technical errors with no explanation. Cameras not found when connected via LAN or wireless. Add a new camera and it drops another etc. Save yourself the headache and money and look elsewhere.
So far not much has gone wrong. I’m still figuring out the system settings. I have a strange green halo on one of my feeds. And an Apple TV app would make sense so the user could view from any tv. First noticeable flaw: the view of all cameras will not go into landscape until you are in full screen in a single video.
Every time I change the Wi-Fi password it gives me a hard time to reconnect. I change Network and now it doesn’t allow me to connect my camera to new Network realink is the worse product I have ever bought. No more realink
Based on a lot of other people’s complaints, I agree. Searching for a clip is difficult as only blank squares are showing. Scrubbing through footage is also annoying since the slider bar is so small. My main complaint is that I cannot view in landscape mode when I rotate my phone. All your other competitors have that feature. Have I known, I might of gone with another brand. Not everyone using the app is young with 20/20 vision.
Downloaded the latest update ….now when I tap on the app Using my iPad 8 …. I get the white screen with. Some text on It …. I Can’t read what is on the white page because it is only Displayed for a 1/4 of a second (quick…quick) Then it displays my camera view, not a deal breaker but wt…f
Would be nice to be able to zoom and pan on both live and playback without it exiting from the camera view. Spending time looking for a specific time in a play back just to zoom in wrong and it take you to main page. Have this system in multiple stores but this may be that tipping point.
Last update the dates are now superimposed over the time thumbnails that are black on black, difficult to read . And the last thumbnail time (closest to now or most recent) won’t open until another one is generated. And if the thumbnail for motion falls on the same time as main file , it won’t open. Every time I get an update thins get messed up worse. I’ll never buy another Reolink again, changing brands
App seems pretty good, but my only complaint is that it could really use rich notifications which show you a picture of whoever shows up on the camera right there in the notification.
The camera/app is ok, but very slow in loading pictures compared to the other game cameras I have, and does not pick up activity that my other game cameras do. When adjusting the camera view, it is also very slow to respond and most of the time, by the time I see what is happening, the view is way past the point I want it to point at. Perhaps it’s better if you have high speed connectivity available, but if you don’t, like in the woods, I think there are other better options available.
Defiantly easier to use than other camera apps, but lacking technic support. Lost thumbnails 2-3 updates ago. Still no thumbnails. Auto night mode setting seems to have very minimal affect when changed. Camera goes to night mode when there is a decent amount of ambient light regardless of where the slider is set.
