Purchased this 5010 after starting my morning with a dash full of lights and the engine running as if on three cylinders. It was actually four. Nice had chewed the wires from the #1 and #3 injectors. None of this was clearly visible. So. Off to O’Reilly’s. The Innova reader I had previously researched went up in price to $350 ! The person at the store recommended the 5010 at $38 and said “it’s just as good”. So i tried it and read a #3 misfire and the indicated replacement of the #3 ignition coil. I bought replacement plugs for the injectors and wired them in. The job required all day from me, i am not a pro but have a bit of experience in similar repairs. This diagnosis and repair were straightforward forward but as I mentioned, time intensive. This device paid for itself on the first use. Strongly recommend.
