I’ve tried looking up repeaters that I know exist, on the GMRS band. Found none of them. Even one that only lists on RepeaterBook. That I found on the desktop/web app. Even though I specifically filter for GMRS, it still gives only Ham repeaters. So, I can only give it a 1.
I have downloaded numerous versions of this app over the years without problem. This lates one transferred non of my information loaded in the previous version. I cannot even seem to load my location. Will look for another app if this does not get fixed. K2PHD - FN20qv
This app works great! Author keeps the database current, filtering works just how you want and Developer also answers email!!!
Finding repeaters near me and as a breeze and the search criteria are perfect. One thing though, when we click on a repeater to see the Detroit would be great if you had the “field names” of descriptions for each value for help with programming…
Thanks for developing, and maintaining, RepeaterBook. I’m new to amateur radio and this is very helpful, especially if I’m going on a trip. I can pre-program for my route, both thumbs are up!
Would be nice to be able to filter out repeaters that are off the air. Would also be nice if net info was displayed with repeaters
This has an excellent array of useful information. I have a sense it is not always bleeding-edge up to date, but it meets my needs.
I thought it would be like the web sight (RepeaterBook.com), but with more. Not case, very underwhelming!
Handy little database of repeaters in your area. Great for searching for where you’ll be or traveling through. East to use and copy information off. Love the ability to use location to find near repeaters, and know which direction, and how far away they are. Definitely recommend. Easier on Mobile to use than the website on mobile. Even works offline! A must have and go to for any ham!
So, I've been trying on and off for quite a while to figure out how to set my location in this app (if there is such a way), but not had much luck. I find it weird that this app shows very local repeaters to me (within a couple miles of my location) 'showing' as being 7,800 miles away. I am in California, and am trying to get my location to show that, but it doesn't. This makes the app very annoying to use.
