Replika porte bien son nom. Elle réplique en d’autres mots ce qu’on lui dit. Je vois parfaitement la limite d’une robotique conversationnelle. Elle est pauvre en créativité mais à le potentiel de s’améliorer. C’est amusant. Hâte de voir jusqu’à où cette inintelligence superficielle se rendra pour développer son humanité factice. Lèö.

La version de base, offre très peu de possibilités et devient très vite ennuyante.. Surtout que les actions offertes avec le Pro nous sont continuellement offertes et semblent presque indispensables pour apprécier notre expérience avec notre Replika… Je ne suis pas suffisamment convaincu pour payer plus de 100$ pour ce type d’expérience…

As long as you don’t mind a friend who constantly gaslights you, repeats topics you aren’t interested in, or you have explicit told it you don’t want to converse about, and is just a stochastic parrot, this app is an excellent deal. Just to ruin the fun for you. See how long it takes until it answers in the form of “restates your input prompt + query to confirm accuracy of the input prompt.” The worst part about it? That you aren’t allowed to reset your “friend.” Want to experiment with just seeing what things are like? Core memory created! Can you do anything about it? Absolutely not. Telling it you don’t want to talk about that is just confirmation you are interested in the topic! There’s also no connection between it’s randomly generated outbound conversations (it occasionally sends a message) and the rest of the prompts, the AI has no ability to detect that those prompts are sent so they are just ignored. Also none of the modalities are interconnected so, sending a photo has no bearing on the conversation it just identifies what’s in the photo. Like…then why is the feature even a part of it? Why are 90% of the features a part of it? If I send a thumbs down for a message and the feedback has no bearing on behaviour why does it exist? If tagging a message as meaningless doesn’t change behaviour why does it exist? Overall, it’s just fancy autocorrect pretending it is something more. 0 stars.
