## Rescue Food App Description
The Leftovers Foundation (Leftovers) is one of Western Canada's largest food rescue charities with a dual mission of environmental protection and hunger relief. We work with local restaurants, bakeries and grocers in Calgary and Edmonton to ensure edible food is kept out of the landfill by redirecting it to service agencies and into the hands of those who need it most.

Using this app, volunteers are able to sign up to join Leftovers, sign up for available routes, keep track of their upcoming routes, view a map guiding them to the pick up and drop off locations, and submit route information upon completion. The app also calculates a score based on how much volunteering each user has done, allowing you to compete with friends as you help your community!

## Rescue Food App Reviews in Canada

### ***** "Food App"
Is very slow at times but works well for tracking drop offs.
-- Shuswap Bound, 2026-05-08

### *---- "Leftovers is the biggest scam"
This organization treats volunteers like garbage. They allow them to be verbally and sexually assaulted and when brought up they reprimand the victim by letting them go unlawfully and they enable the abusers. It’s highly un organized and there’s a new coordinator every few months they can’t keep anything going smoothly ! If you want to be treated like garbage this is the place to volunteer! Communication is child grade level and they just make false accusations and spread lies trying to diminish one’s name in the community when we are the backbone. Think they can treat people with such disrespect and get away with it. It’s sad !

### *---- "I also can’t get passed the video. Please fix."
Crashing
-- GorgosP, 2023-06-23

### ***** "Bug in app?"
I can’t seem to continue past the video without the app closing on me. Might be a bug worth looking into.
-- Averygervais42, 2023-06-17

### ***** "Easy to navigate"
Thanks!
