Over the past 14 years, RescueTime has helped 2.5 million people understand how they spend their time, block distractions, and focus on the work they want to get done. 

Once you download the app on your iPhone or iPad, we’ll send you instructions on how to set up the RescueTime Desktop Assistant. 

MOBILE FEATURES:

Take back control of your time with guided Focus Sessions. Choose what you want to work on, set a timer, and RescueTime will guide prevent you from being distracted by your phone or distracting apps or websites on your computer.

The RescueTime Assistant pairs with our desktop app and gives you a personal daily Focus Work goal and automatically keeps track as you work on your computer. You can also track time spent focusing and enter offline time from your phone.

RescueTime’s desktop app is a powerful desktop time tracker and productivity tool that shows you the exact time you’ve spent on websites, apps, meetings, communication tools, and gives you breakdowns of time spent on Focus Work and Personal time. 

(Note: Due to Apple restrictions RescueTime can’t track your time spent on apps and websites on your phone.)

The previous version allowed you to see desktop and mobile stats from the mobile app but now it feels like two different products. I really liked being able to check my desktop stats from the mobile app but now it only shows my mobile stats for the day. Why can’t we see weekly productivity scores just like the desktop app?

This app has been free for years, I have had it on my PC for a long time. They now want $15 a month for TIME TRACKING, just get a netflix subscription with the money, there are 1000 apps that do what this does for free.

I tried RescueTime with the two-week trial, but it didn’t live up to expectations. The app only tracks time in a basic, non-automated way, forcing you to manually tag and enter time. It doesn’t provide the detailed app usage breakdowns I need, like timestamps or time spent per app at different hours. I expected more, especially for a paid version. Not worth it.

Nobody does this. It’s too risky to give an app that idk if I even like my credit card info where if I forget about it it’s going to charge me $70. No wonder this app is failing, no one’s even gonna try it if you create these barriers to the consumer.

why can't I record an off-line activity that's already completed? Instead all I can do is set up a focus time which I don't want to do. There is some sort of bug with the seconds setting for a focus time that keeps causing the counter to reset.
