Buyer beware

Warning to all potential buyers/users do not use this app, do not buy Honeywell products, their own products do not function with their own app. Simply pathetic.

Why can’t a change from one to the other

A major step backwards

This version is broken. I am forced to login via password recovery every time I use the app. I have a number of devices I use to control my thermostat depending on which device is closest and it seem if I use one the others are logged out. I cannot log back in on the logged out device without password recovery and when I do the other devices are all logged out. What used to be a simple process that took seconds is now a royal pain that takes 5 minutes. If I don’t happen to have the “correct” device at hand it’s now much faster to go up or down stairs and just do it manually directly on the thermostat. Automation done wrong!

Worst hardware and appli

I cannot believe how bad this thing is. First it does not even report the humidity correctly. I have checked with another humidity level to verify and it’s widely inaccurate. Furthermore it raise an alarm when none are found. Finally it requires the use of a passcode even if you don’t need it. This is the last straw for me, I am buying something else. I do not recommend. Stay away from this craps.

It’s “OK”

I’ve had the Lyric for five years now. I’m not impressed. The app “works” but you have to hit settings multiple times before they take, sometimes having to close and re-open the app multiple times. Since Honeywell sold off to Resideo it’s gone downhill. It’s GEO fencing is horrible. I will be replacing the unit for something else.

T6 Pro don’t work

Does not show itself on location network. Useless app

Inaccurate thermostat data

Been using this for about a year. Sending commands to thermostat works good but app is always showing old data, and doesn’t tell you the data is old or give any way to manually force a refresh. You have to open the app and leave it running until the data changes. A process that can take up to a minute until it just changes. App references AccuWeather site for local weather data. That’s great but it doesn’t refresh with the site often enough, again giving the user inaccurate data. If data is old and hasn’t refreshed for a while, the app shouldn’t show it or at least give some indication to the user that they’re viewing old data! I will never buy another Honeywell smart home device again because of horrible app integration.

Will not connect to T6 thermostat

Junk app, will not connect to the T6 pro series thermostat.
