Resideo - Smart Home

I have to constantly shut my iPod off and off before it finally works and after five attempts if I’m lucky I get to change the temperature! I might as well just walk over to the thermostat. Not very reliable

Day three, still won’t sync

First, I have no idea why you have to have 2 apps (Resideo, TCC) to get your thermostats to work. This is an other example of exceptionally good hardware (9600 series Honeywell) and junk software.

Please quit telling us you care about our concerns and to contact you for help. Can you please just fix the bug and make the app refresh without having to force close and restart? The developer’s job is to fix the bugs, right? Background app refresh is turned on. The old TCC app did not have this problem but it quit connecting to the thermostat so I had to switch to this app. Why can’t you get this done? A smart thermostat is useless to me if it doesn’t have a working app.

Love it!!! Brilliantly designed....a quick glance is all it takes to know the status of your system....heat or AC, house temperature and system setting!!! Love the red numbers for heat, blue numbers for cool. Fantastic!!!

App randomly follows whatever schedule it wants. It will ignore various times within a daily schedule and choose to follow an earlier time. Almost as if the app doesn’t know what time it is despite correct location set.

I really like being able to control the temperature in my home while away.

Why is it taking YEARS for the developer to fix a bug everyone is reporting? After 2-3 years of use, the app still doesn’t sync up with the thermostats for like a minute. when you open the app, it shows outdated thermostat temp and settings so if you try to adjust the temperature, it doesn’t work. This should be on the TOP of bugs to fix and all the developer does is just thank you reporting the bug and does nothing.

Well this app is something to be desired!! It now after they did an update is worse than ever!!! I wish I had not spent all this money on a Smart Thermostat that works at the wall but it’s app that comes with it is downright terrible.

The app is good but it’s very frustrating. After you exit the mobile app and re-enter the app, it does not refresh. You need to close the app and reopen, it’s does let you suspend it in iOS.
