Stuck

Just downloaded this game and already stuck on the first activity. I do not see a slot in the right upper corner, and can not pick anything up. What am I missing?

It’s very peaceful but there’s not a lot to do, I still enjoy it anyways but the game is quite short. I recommend to cozy game enjoyers :)

Unplayable

Well that lasted about 30 seconds. It keeps telling me to select a slot in the upper right corner, but there aren’t any slots. I’ve tapped every in the right corner and it just keeps me a sound can be amplified from the tower. I can’t pick up any items, so the game is unplayable. Deleted.

Adorable, Calming Game — Needs A Sequel

I never write reviews. Literally never. But one day App Store reviewed Resonance of the Ocean and it looked fun, so I decided to download it. I’m glad I did. It has an undertone of mystery with the echoing sounds and the notes left in the house, but is at the same time a peaceful and leisurely puzzle game. It doesn’t take long to play—I’ve finished it over seven times and each round only takes about ten minutes at most. The animation is beautiful and the music is as well. It’s exactly what you look for in a game—quiet but challenging, difficult at times but not frustrating. It’s simple, cute, and comes from a small indie studio. I love it, and give it five stars all the way. Now for a little dose of constructive criticism. The notes inside the house and the whole concept of sounds echoing beyond the ocean warrants a sequel. Resonance of the Ocean is fine on its own, but the story could deepen and have tons of potential if the studio made a second game expanding on the notes. Perhaps the main character could find something back home connecting to the island? They then could return and try to uncover the secrets of the resonance. All in all, a wonderful little game for anyone needing some downtime. Music is wonderful, sound is beautiful, animation is the sweetest thing since blueberry scones. These are all just suggestions for the studio if Pujia8 Limited ever wants to make a Resonance of the Ocean sequel—or prequel. Just saying! Thanks for reading, and have fun playing! 😁
