Your subscription plan renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Payment will be charged by Apple at confirmation of your subscription purchase.
Your account will be charged (in advance) automatically for renewal at the applicable price and at the selected frequency (whether monthly, annually or another period) within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage your subscription and disable auto-renewal by accessing your Apple Account Settings after purchase (at least 24 hours before the end of your current billing period). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

New Update Surprise: No pay, no news for you!
The new update added a paywall, so now you can’t read anything without a subscription. This “was” my go to app for unbiased reliable news. Unfortunately I can’t keep adding more paid subscriptions to the ever growing list of companies demanding payment. With inflation still up and even if it plateaus, past price increases for everything aren’t going down. The cost of living has gotten completely out of control. Please rethink your decision as many readers can’t afford to add another subscription to their monthly expenses. I will periodically check and see if this decision is reversed, but until then I will unfortunately be less informed.
Ads after paying? Must be a joke.
Why am I seeing ads after I paid for subscription? It’s either ads, or money. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Spare me that copy&paste response that says “We want to make it better”. Accept your miss, and show us you can learn from it by acknowledging it publicly and offering the bare minimum by removing ads completely for your paying customers. Please don’t ask or expect me to email you Dan.V before you do your due diligence.
All of a sudden the same news costs $4 per month?
Nothing worse than a company charging you money for a product you’ve been consuming for free. Nothing new. No benefit. Just wanting to make more money. Deleting this app.

Version 6 design is a flop
October 2024 update: so now Reuters has a paywall. But the ads are still there. Nope, not paying, and now removing the app from my phone. ——-~~~~~~~~ This new design gives me headache. Fonts oscillating between large and small, news lumped into clusters without much logical narative. Do you guys use AI to curate this new layout? Please go back to previous design. And in the meantime, I’ll switch to AP. Their design was definitely inferior to your previous version, but with this update you managed to lower the bar well below theirs!
Why ads after paid subscription?
News content and journalism is great, covers world news and braod current issues. However not happy that I have paid for subscription and still seeing ads.

Wow. Charging a new subscription fee for news. Unreal. Had this app for a decade and now deleting. Bye Reuters, it’s been swell

It was a good app but I uninstalled it after they started a paywall to read articles.
