## Re:Voir Online Description
Re:Voir is a time machine.
Travel back to the past and discover the source of cinema art and experimentation. Discover or Re:Discover the great filmmakers of history.
Travel forward to the frontiers of media creativity. How far can cinema go?
Think differently: this is another side of filmmaking, the side of poetry, of painting, of abstraction, of creation, a cinema of no rules, or of new rules, in the nomansland between the art world and the film industry.
Re: means to do again, but Re: also signifies a new start, a renewal or rebirth of cinema. To see again, but to see differently.
We think of digital as the future, but maybe experimental film is the future, the eternal restarting of cinema.
This application is a ticket to the past and to the future. A trip into possibilities, to open your mind, to discover and to support the film artists.
Fasten your eyeballs and enjoy the trip!

## Re:Voir Online Reviews in United States

### ***** "The app is great and all, but…"
… for some odd reason, the app just — doesn’t like to load on the iPad. As soon as it loads, it crashes and I can’t watch anything. It does work wonderfully on the iPhone, I do have to say; but as someone with bad eyesight, I prefer to use my iPad to watch films so I could see them better. I hope one day that this bug is fixed. Great app by the way, — I’ve been binge watching the Philippe Garrel movies.

### **--- "Great start, needs improvement"
I was excited to learn re:voir posted its full catalog; however I hoped it would also include the documentaries on avant-garde writers and artists available for sale on their website.
Still, this is a great resource, but the app itself is very frustrating: I kept flipping open the left and right hand panels - I still don’t know how exactly I managed to open the full catalog in the left panel. The app went completely blank on my iphone, and I finally managed to log in on the ipad. The format is very user-unfriendly though. I am sorry to say, I can’t imagine subscribing in the long term. Still, love re:voir and have a lot of their dvds (now in storage… so I was looking fwd to streaming the content…)
