Whether you are chasing records, researching history, or watching the sky right now, everything you need is in one place. HISTORICAL TORNADO DATABASE 75 years of verified NOAA tornado records from 1950 to the present day, including current-year data from NOAA NCEI updated monthly. Search near any location with a customizable radius. Filter by date range and EF rating. Jump to famous outbreaks like the 2011 Super Outbreak with one tap. Tornado detail maps show real NOAA surveyed damage path polygons with per-segment EF intensity coloring when available, so you see exactly where each rating began and ended on the ground. TORNADO POTENTIAL SCORE A real-time 1-to-10 score showing how favorable atmospheric conditions are for tornado development at your location. It draws from active NWS warnings, NOAA SPC tornado probability outlooks, and GFS model data including CAPE, wind shear, 0-6km bulk shear, Lifted Index, and Convective Inhibition. Every factor is explained in plain language. When instability and shear are both elevated, the app warns you the atmosphere is loaded even before storms fire. LIVE NWS SEVERE WEATHER ALERTS Active National Weather Service alerts for your exact location appear on the home screen the moment they are issued. Purple for Particularly Dangerous Situation tornado warnings. Red for active tornado warnings. Amber for watches. Tap to read the full NWS text. SPC CONVECTIVE OUTLOOKS Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 NOAA Storm Prediction Center outlook maps with categorical risk, tornado probability, wind, and hail layers. See your exact location risk and read the SPC forecaster discussion. WEATHER AND MORE Check weather and tornado risk for any city in the world, not just where you are. The app works fully offline with cached weather and tornado data when you need it. Customize your units, map style, and appearance. Canadian locations are fully supported with regional tornado potential scoring built in. ## RexWeather Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/0f/2b/a4/0f2ba425-fae1-23b5-62d1-31b9b8c11525/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-05_at_21.39.02.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/28/c9/3b/28c93b10-07f1-dd13-99f7-ce83b028539c/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-05_at_21.40.52.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/a6/d4/c1/a6d4c115-de7f-86ad-087c-c2562d43f02d/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-05_at_21.46.18.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/84/18/99/84189966-3f9c-6481-f27e-78f78a403afa/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-05_at_21.43.49.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/7a/1f/f6/7a1ff6fa-5821-7a09-4cf8-215f04cc00c4/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-05_at_21.36.40.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/b7/0b/ca/b70bca1b-5509-0822-35e6-fc83be26fb1b/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-05_at_21.39.30.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/82/ba/ee/82baee9e-3439-7e40-92ea-1255112a2837/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-05_at_21.40.29.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/8b/79/90/8b79904a-9b3a-abb7-7c8b-57a9033f14f5/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-05_at_21.35.52.png/1320x2868.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/cd/33/69/cd33694e-806c-a5b4-d55c-5fd13cac93b9/Simulator_Screenshot_-_iPhone_17_Pro_Max_-_2026-05-05_at_21.44.30.png/1320x2868.png) ## RexWeather Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 8 (89%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 1 (11%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## RexWeather Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Free | Canada | Weather | #228 | ## RexWeather Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/rexweather-Yskz/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/rexweather-Yskz/canada) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/rexweather-Yskz/france) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/rexweather-Yskz/united-kingdom) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
