Repeater Finder (RFinder) taps into The World Wide Repeater Directory, including IRLP and EchoLink information.
RFinder (Repeater Finder), the premier Ham Radio repeater locating tool for Amateur Radio operators, allows you to find repeaters all over the world based on your current location or a specified location. It allows sorting by distance or by Trustee callsign as well as filtering by band and radius in miles or kilometers.
NOW RFinder Routing is integrated with RT Systems radio programmers! Your subscription bought here by installing this app gives you access in RT...just make sure RT is updated to the latest version by pressing Help-Update. Click File-External Data->RFinder Web Search and click Route! NOW INCLUDES SOCIAL FUNCTIONS!!!! In the repeater detail screen, click the Check In button. All users will see that you are on that machine! This can be used to find your friends or a machine with a user on it. In the settings bundle app/RFinder you can turn on APRS posting. This posts your current position with the repeater you are checked into. You can also let your friends on Facebook® know what repeater you are on as well as your Twitter® followers, when checking in.
NOW INTEGRATED WITH THE EchoLink APP!!
From the repeater detail screen, any repeater that has an Echolink node attached just touch the number and if you have the EchoLink app installed it will launch to that node automatically for you.
Our repeater locator database is growing daily.
Access to the Directory is included for one year then it will be an annual subscription for $9.99, and your subscription works for all platforms.... Each purchase of a new platform advances your annual to a year from that new purchase date. Sub
If we do not have your repeaters listed...please do not refund or give us a bad rating...add repeaters at http://add.rfinder.net or request an add or update from the app.. Don't forget LAT/LON (in decimal), use periods as decimals, please.
The application accesses our Worldwide Repeater Directory and scanner directory for Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) but only stores information for repeaters within approximately 80 miles (125 km) from your location on your handheld at any one time, saving you room on your device and allowing distance calculation and mapping features to operate smoothly. It uses geolocation either via cell tower triangulation, GPS or manual location entry (so you can look up the repeaters you will use on vacation or business trips, etc.).
If anyone has lists of Amateur Radio repeaters from their countries we would love to incorporate that into our database.

Someone is no longer mixing the store
This use to be an excellent app but now it seems it won’t update, the maps are wrong, and SOMEBODY IS NOT DOING THEIR JOB KEEPING THIS WORKING CORRECTLY.
Out of date data
The app hasn’t had any code updates in 4 years! That should tell you something: the developer isn’t actively maintaining it. I have made update requests to add new repeaters and delete old ones and nothing has happened yet? I do like the functionality, especially the gps location while you travel. But I have found “repeater book” app to be more up to date on their data.
Very unhappy
I purchased this app today and it doesn’t bring up the directory at all . I’ve looked through the entire menu and can’t make it appear !
In app charges not applied
Several times have paid for app and not received credit. Tried to submit a claim and app says never paid. I have invoice from Apple showing charges.
Save you money … unsupported software.
I am ARRL member … it is hard to believe they recommend this application. Worked in the past … now is totally inoperable.
No support, no renewal
Worked reasonably fine until time to renew. Paid for renewal, but the app wouldn’t recognize it. No support through the app; emailed the support address on their website and was referred to the (nonexistent) app support.
Highly functional and intuitive
This app and associated devices are revolutionary in that they are in a class all by themselves and yet the company also provides top of the line customer service that truly sets them apart rarely can you find a quality product and a creator that basically updates that product to feel like a brand new ever evolving project that truly keeps on giving…RFinder is making the Ham Radio experience quicker more intuitive and in a world looking for inclusivity ..more accessible than ever before so if you are looking to go from zero to hero in no time flat and be at the cutting edge of what’s new in ham radio RFinder is the route to go.
Will NOT renew and update
Had this app for years. Noticed in setting that the “subscription “ expired a fee years ago. I tap on renew and it acts like it is renewing my subscription and tries to charge my account. It then says renewal successful. BUT in reality, nothing is getting purchased, there are no receipts to restore the purchase and it still shows expired years ago. Tried multiple times to renew but it won’t work. Complained a year ago and no response. If the developer won’t take the time to fix this app, you shouldn’t waste your time, or money, installing it.
Does this app get any support?
There are a lot of old reviews here. For something that is the official online repeater directory of the ARRL and other organizations it seems pretty ignored. I cannot get it to let me override my location. It always says it can’t find the place I am searching on. I have signed out and back in with no improvement. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled with no improvement. Any suggestions to make this app more reliable?
