This app is very interesting and helps a lot to improove precision in my play. It would be very interesting if this app would be compatible with audiobus or any other instrument app (amplink). So the exercices could be practiced with an instrument.

A perfectly designed app for the iOS devices, which realizes a useful concept of rhythm training and testing. ReadRhythm allows one to go step by step when improving his rhythm sight reading skills. Each next level adds a new rhythmic element. I recommend one to practice every level until he/she can pass the endurance test: complete at least 5 exercises of the same level in a suite with varying tempo. Then go to the next level. I completely agree with the previous customer, who wrote about adding a rhythm editor for writing one's own exercises. What else could one desire? Perhaps support for midi-input from a keyboard and random note degrees, so one can also practice rhythmic melodies on the piano, by connecting it to the iPad via the camera connection kit...

wonderful! exactly what i needed: easy to handle, extensiv, lots of exercises and a bunch of important options. training first, testing than - a very clever approach with the metronome price is ok. I wish i could give 10 stars. thank you, developer!!! now already in version 4.6 app is getting better and better! I have only one request though: Would it be possible to include a kind of editor to make your rhythms yourself? Sometimes while reading sheet music i discover a rhythm i would like to practise separately from the included rhythms wit this trainer. Otherwise i cannot imagine what could be better! Every music Player/lover should get this app!!!

I love this app. I suggest it for all my piano students. I use it to practice rhythms for myself too. I love that you can use challenge mode to increase tempos. Just one suggestion. Make the tapping pad a little bigger. Sometimes I’d like to use two fingers, and it’s almost impossible because of the size if the pad.

Experienced musicians can see a rhythmically complex piece of music and just tap it out without much trouble before playing it. Me? I’m not in that group. I need to go over a piece many times before I can play it. I reduce the time I need between first seeing the music and finally playing the notes by practicing with Read Rhythm. I enter the notes into the editor and practice until the rhythm is familiar to me. I have a habit of being a little ahead of the beat in my playing, and can work on that in the app, since it tells you if you are ahead, on, or behind the beat. When I’m done working on a section, I email the results to my music teacher, so we can go over it in lesson. In all, this is a great app for perfecting your rhythm, either through random exercises or by creating your own. I should also add that I had a question at one point about the editor, and the developer answered me very promptly to tell me what I was doing wrong. Not many apps have that kind of service, and I was very glad for the help.
