RhythmBot is your personal sight-reading coach, creative tool, and metronome. Master complex rhythms and become more creative on your instrument.

RhythmBot creates infinite new rhythms according to the parameters you set, which include complexity, tempo, time signature, subdivision, playback sound, swing percentage, and more.

*READING MODE: An infinite scroll of sight-reading practice at your complexity level.

*PLAY ALONG MODE: RhythmBot measures your accuracy and longest streak as you tap the rhythms.
- Start simple and increase complexity.
- See your stats after each attempt.

I’m amazed how addictive this app can be. I am tempted to get a large monitor and position it in front of the drum kit for teaching. The only downside for me is reading while lines are progressing and having to go back to the top. I am reconciling it as ‘think of it as observing a repeat sign.’ The flexibility of the app is fantastic!

I absolutely cannot believe how much I learned over the course of the 80 day summer reading challenge. Using rhythm bot I learned more in 80 days about how to read music than I did throughout all of my junior high school and high school years of studying and reading music. This tool is the most incredible and innovative developed method in learning how to effectively sight read very complex music in an extraordinarily short time!  Thanks, JP... you are truly a gift to the drumming community!

I’ve been using this app since the day it came out. I’ve been playing drums for a long time and never really got my reading of drum notation to this level. I look forward to using it every day. One of my favorite features is the swing continuum, which gives the user the ability to alter the amount of swing a rhythm has. As a drummer, I’ve found it so helpful when trying to capture the nuances of uneven eighth patterns like some traditional Samba feels or Dilla time.
