Ralston was great and fair for the drivers. Unfortunately Lyft, an Uber are taking so much of the profits. It’s not worthwhile for drivers anymore. Unfortunately with RideAustin gone there are no other options.

Please remove the app from the App Store unless you’re starting up again

Like other reviewers stated, I was unable to sign up for my upcoming trip to Austin, TX. I tried with two email addresses and phone numbers and just get a dialogue that reads "Oops" (error 5.2.0) upon submission of my account details. I also tried resetting my password - thinking maybe the submissions were accepted. Nope - same "Oops" dialogue. Bummer. 😔 Thankfully, I’m a Lyft user and it looks like Lyft is available in Austin.

The driver arrival time is actually twice as long or more than the estimated arrival time. Your ride will get cancelled and the wait time starts all over again with no warning or reason. Driver estimated a 19 minute arrival, after 10 minutes he was still in the same spot at the airport and the wait time still said 19 min, and 19 minutes was not even a realistic time to begin with. This has happened more than once. I reported problems previously with unannounced cancellations and changes of drivers and wait times. Never heard back. Do not use this service if you need to be anywhere on time.
