Cannot calibrate power cranks
Worked once when I set it up. No longer works. Watched videos. Deleted up. Ensured everything is fully charged. Stayed away from other interfering signals and devices. Nothing. Useless.

Connect with Giant Power Pro
After pairing with your Giant Power Pro, you can view all this data in the RideLink app. The RideLink can connect with BLE-compatible heart rate straps to also show HR data for a complete overall view of your workout performance effort.
Connect with Giant Smart Trainer
After pair with Giant Smart Trainer, you can view immediately cycling data, adjust the resistance level and update firmware by the RideLink app. Also the RideLink app can connect with BLE compatible HR belt and cadence sensor to show heart rate and cadence data to see your overall workout performance.
Use RideLink to calibrate and update the firmware before your ride with Power Pro. This will ensure that all data output is accurate.
Workout data is saved in the RideLink app. You can also forward ride data via email to evaluate your ride performance and make future training adjustments.
Note: RideLink is compatible with all devices running iOS 9.0 or newer.

Doesn’t work
Drops out mid ride and crashes constantly giant updates needed ASAP

Release 2.2.0 does not work
I have used previous releases OK, but the current version just crashes after displaying the opening screen for about 2 seconds. My advice don’t update as you can’t revert!
Giant - you need to fix version 2.2.0 and fast
Previous version 2.1.12 was a bit clunky, but at least you could calibrate the R8000 power meter (essential to ensure accurate readings) and update the firmware. This version (2.2.0) is simply useless. As other reviewers have said, as soon as the app opens it then crashes. Once downloaded there doesn’t seem to be a way of going back to previous versions, so now unable to calibrate power meter - spectacularly unhelpful. Please sort it out Giant.

Doesn’t even open
Crashes rendering Power Meter useless !
If the app keeps crashing (have deleted it and re opened to try and fix) then it would allow the power meter to be calibrated so what is the point of the power meter if you cannot calibrate it ! Useless. Fix the crashes and then it might be ok ! Until then it’s a waste of time and money - don’t bother buying the power meter.
Just crashes
New version just crashes as soon as you open don’t download it. Not the best of apps at the best of times but just not working at all now.

Won’t calibrate, won’t update firmware, won’t link with Garmin. Gave 1 star because writing a review is the only thing that works 😡
Doesn’t work
Seems to record data ok on short 10min rides. But on longer rides it seems to crash and record no data. I’ve only managed to record one of four 2h rides
