RIDGID Radio

My old Ridgid radio lasted a month display didn’t work now they replaced it with this new one I have and it doesn’t work with the app very annoying and the new radio has no equalizer options

Nice features to program new radio and to control from your phone. One issue I found is as soon as I tried to set up and use reminders the app kept crashing. IT would not allow me back into those settings after. Had to delete the app and reinstall. Reminders not working

Works as described , the first time the app is downloaded,yes I can still stream . but every time I want to use “ control feature “ it won’t connect or even find rigid CRTL . If it’s a bug fix it . Or this radio and app will end up going into the trash .

Ridgid is gonna sell a ton of these new radios and if ppl get the app on there phones to run it from there pocket .. Just blown away with this thing it Rocks !!! Awesome awesome awesome Ridgid

Can’t change frequency. Useless

Either the app will not allow me to connect to my iPhone 8 via Bluetooth or I have a brand new dud radio. Connected once, but hasn’t since. As such I cannot give it anything more than a 3 as the app appears to be pretty well laid out.

I can connect to the Control device automatically via the app. But I have to go to Bluetooth setting on my phone and manually connect to the radio as well. Then I can play music. Kind of counterintuitive.

I love this app with the radio works really well plus your battery get changed is a plus

July 2020 - I’ve had this radio for several years. A couple years ago was the last update that I can find, and it appears they’ve decided to no longer support or update this app. It’s mostly non-useable. I can pair the app to my iPhone 11 Max Pro, but that’s about it. Input selector, volume control, all else just don’t work at all. Not the level of professionalism I expect from Ridgid, but oh well. Don’t download unless you want frustration.
