Great for enthusiasts or beginners

I enjoy the magazine cuz it don’t ONLY cover high end arms(it does plenty of that too tho), but it covers basics and has some of my favorite writers in this field!

Great Magazine, ok app

This is one of the few firearms publications I enjoy enough to actually purchase. The articles are detailed and relevant to all my interests in shooting sports. The app, however, lacks a little polish. Ideally, this publisher would unify their apps into one and allow multiple subscriptions on a single app.

App does not work

Nonacnosac on

I have subscribed to this magazine and HANDLOADER and when I downloaded the app it does not work. I have contacted the publisher and they say the problem is with the app. I have tried everything I can think of. This has been going on for months. I did read the magazines for a while but when I renewed the subscription it stopped working. I can’t even get my money back.

Great info on new rifles as well as older ones!

I enjoyed the section on leverguns. Good information on the quality and craftsmanship of new rifles just becoming available. The technical info is educating!

One of the finest firearm related magazines

Tiny Malone on

Rife is quite clearly one of the very finest firearm magazines on offer from ANY publisher. It’s not the best magazine for the new shooter perhaps, but Rife absolutely offers a level of depth, technical knowledge, and history not found in any other long gun focused periodical. While other gun rags might offer a wider base of subject matter, the level of detail and focus in Rifle is similar to the difference one might expect between gun shopping at Cabbalas (an excellent place to purchase) vs a fine local gun shop that has a real gunsmith on hand, while a few very knowledgeable and experienced old shooters (employees and clients) share knowledge gleaned via schooling and years of “doing it”. I often liken Rifle to going to that special gun shop of my youth, back in the day with dad and Grandad. I might’ve been able to site at the workbench with the gunsmith while he performs his trade. I’d watch and learn, while the rest of the old guys smoked cigarettes, shared knowledge & experience and told stories from back in the war or in the field. I learned so much from men who are a rare find indeed today. It was good trustworthy information the wise carried on with them. That’s what this magazine is!
