Story behind the app

The idea for this app started when I was filming for the BBC's 'Private Life of Plants.' A friend visiting my garden asked how I managed to create such a colorful, year-round display. She struggled with choosing plants, especially for specific spots like under a tree or around her garage. I realized there had to be an easier way for people to find the right plants, no matter their gardening experience.

So, I created an interactive plant database that helps users find plants suited to any garden condition. Over time, we incorporated features like search based on plant attributes and the ability to add notes and keep a record of the plants in their garden.

Lastly, we introduced our revolutionary assistant, Planty AI, to help users add the right plants with ease. With over 10 years in the making, collating the data and over 15,000+ photographs to help with identification.

Today, there are just two of us: me and app developer, Sylwester, working on this great app.

## Right Plants Reviews in United States

### *---- "Useless"
The first plant I searched for was a spider plant, nothing found.
-- Tina34578643211, 2020-09-03

### ****- "Just the UK?"
This app looks fantastic until I searched for zones and realized it doesn’t apply to the US.
Disappointed :(
-- Distractingbanner, 2020-08-01

### ***** "I love it !!"
But I have one problem . I tried to search up poison ivy and it didn't search up anything even under common name . And why is all of the plants trouble free ? We should be able to learn about the potential danger if every plant so we are cautious around plants . Please update this app so I can still have fun with it .
-- Abree2008, 2020-06-14

### ****- "Great app"
This is a great app. I wish there were a reminders feature that allowed you to set up plant care reminders- with that this app would have everything I’m looking for.
-- Rjdnsnju, 2020-05-27

### ***** "Awesome"
Awesome app very informative and very helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone that is interested in growing any plants or vegetables.
-- Chevy0522, 2020-04-17

### **--- "For outdoor plants only!"
This seems like it might be a decent app but it seems to be for outdoor only. They should make that much more clear in the description.
-- The Sidewinder Three-Thousand, 2019-11-15

### *---- "Bad, Restrictive Database; Shady “Trial”"
When I downloaded this app it told me I had a 15 day trial but with no details on what that meant or what it’d cost afterwards.

In addition, the only way to add a plant to your personal list of plants is to find it in the database. If it’s not in the database, you’re completely unable to track that plant. None of my plants were in the database!
-- Zach O'Toole, 2019-03-02

### ***** "Nice find"
This app has a nice selection of plants with great photos. The descriptions and care instructions are excellent. The ability to filter by attribute is great too. I'm pleased I took a chance on this purchase!
