Not sure if it’s related to a recent update or just the age as I nabbed it pretty early on. -- H.R.Jr., 2025-01-05 ### ***** "Ring Conn" Ring Conn Please bring a feature if you take certain pills the ring will monitor your heart rate and your information with the pills, but it will enter the data and then when you enter the data and if you do take the pills if you don’t so that you understands in the system what you take so that it understands that collected data why you have a high heart rate or whatever you take so that the system knows and understand your data within the information when you take your and it understands the information so basically the Ring will understand that you take those pills so that when it’s monitoring your heart rate or everything they understand why you’re getting those data so it can collect the date of the pills and collect the date of the other information when you wear the ring on your finger, so understands your pattern when you take And the so it basically patterns when you take certain pills so that in your body and in your system, the ring understands your pattern so it just doesn’t guess on your heart rate if you have a high heart rate of low heart rate so it’s collecting the data with the pills so it knows if that’s in your system and knows to monitor that as well and monitor your other patterns if you take a nighttime pill or if you take a morning pill or whatever pills you take so I understand in your system when it’s monitoring your heart rate and all your other levels say enter the date of the pills and then it clicks the data. It says thank you for entering the data. The sleep apnea is a nice addition although I wished it could recognize workouts like a run. The Aura Ring 4 does even though you pay a small monthly fee for the app. I use both rings and still trying to decide. I enjoy the metrics on the Aura App more. But, if you don’t want to pay for an app use the RingConn. Also like the slimmer design of the RingConn 2 over the Aura Ring 4. I wear a Garmin Fenix 8 which is bulky so anything else I wear that can be minimalist is best. I did a bunch of prior research on different brands and found that RingConn was both financially and practically the best option. The biggest upside is the travel charging case. The app is extremely streamlined and very easy to use and understand. I walk my dog a lot and use the app to track my distance and steps taken. The sleep monitor is also extremely accurate and feasible. Highly recommend for individuals looking to purchase any sort of “health” tracker that does not want the clunky wrist watch. I’ve had the RingConn ring for about 7 months. I purchased based on a few factors (I like the look better than other tracking rings) but mostly because it offered the same functionality as the Oura ring without the hefty monthly subscription, and because it’s not huge and bulky like an Apple watch. I loved using the app daily to track things like my sleeping but also to create notes on things that are specific to my health: IBS related issues, migraine tracking, etc. I did that until the most recent update where the developers removed the note function. That is a huge loss to me and may affect other users as well. To get the full scope of health, you need to be able to note things that aren’t typical and watch to see if there is a pattern (like do I get migraines around my period every month). Now that the note option is gone, I will likely have to look into a different ring (a different company entirely) when I hit the year mark with this ring. I’ve tried other gear like smart watches to get my stats; but they always seemed to count more steps than usual because of the way it assumes movement as a step. With this ring I see more precision in my step count. I also really like the way it measures my stress, and how it points out outliers in my usual stats to keep an eye on specific health issues. The couple of complaints I have is the fact that you have to open the app as soon as you wake up in order for your sleep to register. I’ve only had a handful of times that my sleep didn’t register because I didn’t open the app upon waking. The ring seems to be holding up to everyday wear and tear and I’m not easy on my hands. I work outside on the garden and around my property and it’s held up well. The other complaint I have is I have to have my phone on me for the activity tracker to keep up. Sometimes I leave my phone in the house and work outside and the ring won’t register all the activity I’ve done.
