### ***-- "Results at a cost"
I used Ro for a year, Nov 23-Dec 24. I was on the compounded semaglutide they provided until May, and then switched to Zepbound. In that time I went from 200 to 150lbs. Since this is an app and a service and a product, I will try to review each.

App: very glitchy; can’t type a full message to my provider (have to write elsewhere and copy in). The app does not have a lot of helpful features like being able to view your weight history (though there’s a linked scale), and for the first few months the app did not have the “log your last shot” button so I had to go on the website. Disappointing for the price

Service: total inconsistency in MDs, so they have no sense of your history or progress and are just there to write scripts. They are pretty responsive but several times I had to screenshot or reference conversations with prior doctors. New scripts are written about a week after your first shot and you immediately start getting prompted with your next refill check in, very annoying that the service/app doesn’t follow their own schedule for check ins. Totally not worth the cost.

Product: I would be very wary of their compounded semaglutide. I followed directions and dosing meticulously but was VERY sick on it (massive nausea I and vomiting multiple times per week). Despite assurances they really can’t control what’s in the product and with what else is on the market now, not worth it.

Price: you pay $145 for the app and access to medical providers and prescriptions. To me this is totally not worth it. Comparably PlushCare is $19.99/mo…or just go to your primary care doc. Then, you will pay for your actual meds. The compound is I believe $450/mo for the vial, which you have to manually dose and inject yourself. My insurance doesn’t cover weight loss so my Zepbound Rx with Lilly coupon card is $550/4 doses, in the pre-prepared pen. So be aware that you will be paying a LOT; the $550 was worth it to me (and used my FSA), but the $145 for Ro was not.

This app is entirely a scam. Makes you pay $45 to sign up for literally nothing. Then it’s $150 a month WITHOUT medication. Then $254 a month the following months WITHOUT the meds lol. Definitely not worth it at all. It’s hard to cancel your subscription as well. Very suspicious app.

Came across the ad on snap chat. It said $45 to get started and then $145 every month after that. Then told me that it would be $145 to get  started with the medication and $389 per month. Which one is it. Customer service confirmed the $145 to get started. It just seems like false advertising to me. If it’s $45 then $145 why and how does it all of a sudden jump to $145 then $389?? 🤔🤔🤔

These idiots keep sending my medication to a non-existent address that isn’t the one I have on my profile and I have to spend time every month getting them to fix it, which takes forever because they have no customer service representatives. I don’t know if Hims or other competitors are better but they couldn’t be worse.

Placed an order with a promo and it got approved, i asked about a higher dosage, they then cancelled my order and tried charging me 4 times the price. I then told them the original prescription was fine but they wouldn’t honor it anymore. Mind you they had already charged me for the original prescription, all they had to do was place the order for me but they refused. Took 8 days of messaging for them to refuse honoring the original order to even get a refund. They also take forever to reply. Avoid this company.

I asked three times, and went through the motions of canceling treatment after following instructions and was still charged. That and the app would make me log in every time i attempted to cancel and it doesn’t recognize when I’m clicking the space bar between words. I also didn’t like being thrown around provider by provider every time i asked a question. My name was spelled wrong by each one, and i felt disconnected to the program and was not given individual care like they cited.

I was charged $100 to be assessed for medication. I was told they sent my prescription to my pharmacy MULTIPLE times and every single time I checked with my pharmacy they had no record of it at all. I had to reach out again and again to have them fax my prescription which is ridiculous, why is the burden on me? On the third time my pharmacy said they had not received a fax Ro said the same thing over and over “we will send it again.” I triple checked the correct information. Then suddenly they cancelled my entire prescription stating I no longer met the requirements for my medication. They did not refund me my $100. I spent $100 to be jerked around. Use Her instead, they are much more professional, their communication is 1000 times better, and they ship your medication right to your front door. None of this nonsense with having you do the work of contacting your pharmacy again and again. Her is much more upfront about everything and I was able to pay one price upfront for a monthly shipment. Do yourself a favor and avoid using this company.

Fake pharmaceutical product with zero effectiveness. I tried a couple doses and complained and they said well sorry we use a compound pharmacy sorry for your luck. Here’s a $40 credit for future purchases. They charge over $200 and that’s over $12 pill. Money down the drain.

I have had a great experience with Ro so far being almost a month in. The care is quick and easy.The only feedback I have is I want my documentation to be visible to me. I would like to see the injection dates and mg after I recorded an injection possibly on a little calendar. It would be helpful to me. Or just have a cohesive, overall tracker that shows injections, weight, symptoms all together.
