Road Trip MPG

It’s really just about the perfect app. Does one thing exceptionally well. It has a few ancillary features that aren’t quite as well thought out but that’s ok. Nothing beats it for tracking mileage.

Another, out of the park, update from Darren. As below, this app has followed me to every new iPhone and iPad. Useful, functional, and beneficial. This app is the only one that has been kept on my phones through every phone upgrade for years. The developer is always finding ways to improve it. And it’s always 5-stars!

This is a very good app! Very detailed! Never a problem or crash ever.

I’ve used this app since 2012, and I can happily say this has been so easy to keep track of anything I would ever want for my car. Putting in every fill up is super simple, and it calculates my MPG and puts it in a graph with all my other fill ups. I have multiple reminders for things like changing my oil or my car inspection, so I can keep track of that. Additionally, since I’ve put things in the services tab like when I’ve had to buy a battery, tires or even wiper blades, I can see when I did it last and any other information. I simply cannot recommend this app enough, I’ve enjoyed it so much that I created an Apple Shortcut to open the “add fuel” prompt and I paired it to an NFC sticker that I put on my dashboard, so I can easily tap it and start logging my gas. And that works flawlessly!! Thank you for the amazing app!!

I’ve been using Road Trip for 2 years now. It is excellent. Exactly what I was looking for. This replaced an Excel spreadsheet I’d been using for years. - feature rich - runs locally - backup to icloud - data is easily exportable - fast, easy to use at the pump The only thing I’d love to see is a watchOS App, in case I don’t have my phone when I fill up.

I have used Road Trip MPG since it first appeared on Apple App Store. Continual improvements now make it work for everything from my classic van through my EV. I even use it for my home generator and garden tractor. Reminders work great and keeps me on maintanance task before overdue. Great job to developer.

I’ve been using this app for so long I don’t remember. 8 or 10 years? Maybe more. It does everything I want, and it has always been flawless. Never a glitch or an error. Highly recommend!!

Used many other apps over the years but we’ve downloaded this one to track all our cars for 15 years! So simple to use and expenses easy to track. Love it. One of my favorite apps. Tracked every expense for my cars so when I sell them I download the entire cost to run my car! Absolutely love this app.

This is a great app, I use it with all my vehicles. The only possible improvement would be Apple CarPlay compatibility, so I could enter the data on my car’s entertainment system screen.

I’ve been using Road Trip since 2019 and have never had an issue. It can track multiple vehicles, including electric, and archive old vehicles. I also use it to track maintenance and set reminders for future service. It’s a great one stop shop to see the economics of driving. I love that it syncs with DropBox so my data is safe and easy to export.
