Ability to specify aftermarket tire size

Squirrelly D4n on

Ive been using this app for over a year with multiple cars and its done a great job. A feature I would be interested in is being able to specify tire size to get an accurate reading of my MPGs. Since I have larger than stock tires on my truck, the odometer reading is not accurate and not having to covert manually from the OEM size would be amazing. Thanks!

Highly recommend!! 👍🏻

I’ve been using this App over many years and several vehicles. Just one occasion I sent a question to the developer and received a very fast response! My current vehicle is a hybrid, so why bother tracking fuel economy? Well it is smart way to ‘monitor’ the engine health of your car! Regardless of low miles or a high mileage vehicle many people have today.

LOVE this app!

April 2025: sent this to Developer’s support email but it bounces back with a 5.7.1 error. Posting here in hopes they can read and address: I recently switched from ICE to an EV and it’s been really confusing for me. Your app brilliantly supports the basics of EV but I have some blind spots that might be addressed better in the app. ICE isn’t easily translating for me into EV thinking I’ll try doing some bullet points: 1) I can adjust my “tank” in an EV for various capacities. It’s best to not “fill” it to 100% ever because the battery needs space for regeneration, along with other reasons. EVs shine for local usage, and typically a “full” tank is really 80%. BUT if you are doing a longer trip and want to avoid range anxiety, you want to charge it up higher. I’ve set mine to 95% charge occasionally. Bottom line- for an EV I believe this “full/not full” setting isn’t helpful. I think it should instead be a percentage- and perhaps even incorporating details about the specific vehicle so it knows battery size and charging rates. Also might be useful to capture (optionally) the time required to fill it up. That data would really help hone in on managing the vehicle. 2) the KWH and miles per KW and all that can get really confusing, I even tried having an engineer friend of mine try and explain it simply and he was getting tripped up. Since I’m older and MPG is pretty well drilled in, the closer that KW per mile can be translated to my brain via the interface I’d be really pleased. 3) As Range Anxiety is common, perhaps a simple “breakout” for envisioning the current distance possibilities would be doable. 4) Since EVs are so sensitive to elevation changes and speed, that information could find a way to be captured and/or documented beforehand in estimating range for trip planning. Many people repeat commutes and trips, so having a way to capture repeat routines and then using that to get “real world” car performance in that car with that driver would be neat. 5) In fact, maybe adding an optional field where appropriate for what driver used it on that trip could provide some other data points of value. ——————————— (Former review): I was using another app for a while until it stopped being supported. Found this app as a replacement and it has nearly every option I wanted. It’s beautifully crafted, fairly intuitive, has a bunch of graphs, reminders, and features that are well worth the investment. I stay on top of my MPG and have access to historical wor

Best Fuel Stat App

I’ve had this app for more than 10 years. I love it! It keeps all your stats and has roadtrip mode, maintenance records. It’s well worth it. And there’s no micro transactions or monthly fee. You just buy it and that’s it.

Tracking since 2014!

Been using this app for over 10 years now. Frankly, I take it for granted the developer keeps it going, and I’m super grateful. I love going back and seeing all the stats for my previous cars, but also, huge for me is tracking my service too. A big indicator something could be wrong is a drop in MPG, and I do all my own service. Sometimes I’m forgetful too. This app is the best and helping me making sure I stay on top of caring for me cars despite my busy life. I recently went to sell a car, and since I do my own work, no paper trail. The buyer was happy to see my log in this app and felt even more comfortable as they could tell I was even more on top of my car than the average owner in the market probably is. Sure it’s all based on truthfulness and if you believe their entries, but it’s better than nothing. Dev, I hope you keep the app going for as long as possible. Thank you!

Great fuel and expense app

I’ve been using this app for 8 years. In all that time, I’ve not experienced one problem with it. It is wonderfully smooth to handle multiple vehicles and using Dropbox I can sync multiple devices, iPhone and iPad. Entering data into the app is a breeze. You can include as much information as you want. I also use it to keep track of vehicle maintenance like oil changes, tires and recalls. I highly recommend this app.

It’s changed

BeadNut on

I have used this app for several years. It’s been good to go back and check things…. However tonight I went to check on mileage a year ago only to find out all my gas fill ups etc, now only starts in May 2024. I don’t know when this changed, but I’m disappointed. Other than that, it has been a good app.
