Some drivers prefer small items like prescriptions and some prefer larger items like TVs. There’s no way on the app to filter your preferences or even get notifications for your preferences. It would also be good to filter based on offer amount. Depending on where you live, the map gets overloaded with overlapping bubbles and you can’t click the ones you want fast enough. I would even like a way to auto submit on my preferences . Just like a bot (if you’re coming from Spark or Flex, you know what I mean). -- Ana Suromai, 2025-01-25 ### ***** "Best Delivery App out there" After working for Rodie for quite some time I have to say I disagree with a lot of the reviews. This is a metric performance based app. That being said you will most likely ( depending on your area) have prove your worth with lower paying gigs at first. The ones no one wants. I agree that it’s frustrating at first because you feel like you’re not getting the higher paying jobs, but if you stick with it, complete your delivery’s with excellent CS, don’t cancel gigs after you excepted them, and don’t waist time it will come. Every area is different as are the gig opportunities in that area. Also your what you drive will make a big impact. Larger will have the potential for larger pay but larger expenses. Lastly I’ll say I’ve worked most apps out there and this is by far my favorite. It’s very learnable and with time you will figure it out but their is a learning curve ( where the work is, load sizes, distances, terrain, all of which are very important to be successful. -- LMH 22, 2025-01-25 ### ***** "NICELY DONE" getting started on the app as far as getting gigs, is a little worrisome at first. Just because there aren’t normally a lot of gigs available as a new worker. But once I did three or four, it seems like the app has been giving me the opportunity to accept a lot more gigs.. Meaning when I first started, I would get maybe two or three a week. But as I accepted those, the available gigs became more abundant. I’m now have the option of doing Roadie all day long if I wanted to. I will say that when I first started doing Roadie. It seemed like the gigs that were available, were better paying gigs than what I see now.. Not to say that the gigs aren’t worth it now. It just seems like the really hard paying ones have become kind of rare.. Now talking about the pay, they do have “instant” pay after you complete a certain amount of deliveries. It isn’t very instant from what I can tell.. Normally about three hours after cashing out., The money will be available to you. But overall, I will say that the app is a well structured app, and I can’t recall any times that the app has been buggie, or non-responsive. It’s very informative and they make it easy to understand. So if you’re looking to make a little extra money , give it a shot. There’s nothing to lose in trying. And if you’re a Dasher, deliver a couple roadie orders in the slow times. It is also rare to find an offer than will pay you well. Most of the offers, you won’t even get the minimum wage than you would get from a normal job. That is why I am leaving it in the review Love Roadie to death, but there has been an error with my account and I have tried to have it resolved, but it has not been resolved when I offer on an order it shows that I’m offering with a large SUV, but if I click view my badges it shows red cargo van, which is my old vehicle also I don’t see very many orders at all anymore. There is an error, but nobody through support is willing to help fix it. I did not like it, but i will serve him again before i work another day here at roadie. This pay is more demeaning than being sexualized. I feel like id be respected more working with onlyfans, than working for UPS’s left hand. The fact that this almost has a 5 star rating has made me lose faith in app store ratings. Will never trust them again. On average it pays 30% less than min wage in colorado. And then on top of that, you have to pay for gas. The jobs are so far apart, and they take so long to accept your orders, that it makes it impossible for this to actually pay for my rent, even if i work full time. And making repairs on my car? Forget about it. I hope this short period of time where you can abuse your contractors will make you enough that by the time they make laws to help us it was worth it. But considering it isnt even worth getting up and working any day, means your company can’t grow enough to where you would make even more money—while paying us better. Just depends on the company you want to be. Do you want to be the lowest of low hiring people who are willing to accept this kind of pay?
