I’ve been using Roadtrippers for many years but just recently I used it for a 2 year trip around Australia. 
That really gave the software a workout with 180 stops split between two trips. 
I found it an invaluable piece of kit while on the road full time.

Got the Plus version... trying to do trip planning in Australia and this app does not show cities in the search results... search for Canberra, it’s only the capital of Australia... but it does not warrant being shown in the search... makes it pretty ordinary as a “Trip Planner”...

This is the first App I have regretted purchasing. This App is not user friendly for multiple day trips.... you should be able to analyse segments of a complex road trip. Also I am using this from Australia and the conte t is very poor. No reviews of restaurants, hotels, etc.  you are better off with Google Maps and Trip Advisor. 

Also, when I purchased the app it appeared that the only option was a 1 year subscription, but when managing my subscriptions in iTunes there is a monthly option. So I am out $50 when I could have tested it for a month at something like $10. Not happy.

After selecting a starting point, and searching for the next point, the suggestions are not location dependent, instead of looking up something sensible like location names which are physically closer it is alphabetical. It would take way too long to use this app for a planner, a spreadsheet is better.
